I reckon this is starting to pop up a bit, and that freaking shocking of all shocking commentators Dwaynepipe Russell won't stop saying it.
Listen here buddy, there ain't anything super about a sub.
I'm filled with hate.

*Sub kicks a goal*

"Oh baby you bet the sub rule works!" *smug grin*

Cricket term that commentators think is cool to apply when a fresh man comes on and gets a few touches

Super Sub is also a common term in Soccer for the guy who comes on in the last 5 minutes and scores.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer from Man United is the best known - he could come on and turn any game around with 5 minutes to play.

The term supersub means extra cheese, salami, lettuce etc. That's a supersub.

A sub is only super if they win the game for their team - that's the only time it's appropriate to use.

dont worry about dwayne, he also said essendon are just as impressive as collingwood after beating up on the GC.

hope fox choose to replace him

Vin Cattagio in my eyes used to be the 'Super Sub'. It seemed everytime he came off the bench against the Cats he'd torch us with 2 or 3 quick goal.
