Why would I hate him? He's a finals failure who can't play on a decent opponent and yet he's taken up $1.8 million from a club I dislike over the last 3 years.

You Wally, Smith went onto Goodes after half time and did well on him. He's backed that up with another good final. Nothing noticeable with it? Last week he went at 90% disposal efficiency and he went at 95% tonight.

I spent a couple of years telling Crow flogs that he should be their No. 1 target and Spud Tippett should be relegated to a support role if not dropped completely and they all argued against it. How very right I was on both counts.

Now that Tex is 22 he has matured and the job of number one forward for us is starting to be his, and he is taking ownership of the role.


The realisation he has more in the game than just kick goals has made Tex a more rounded Key Forward.

Tippett has been next to useless all year unless he's had an inexperienced and/or midget key defender to beat up on. He's played as many good AFL games against a good defender this year as you or I have.

Absoloutely agree... Not just because I support the crows but come on he has the 2nd highest avg of goals per game behind Buddy. Not sure if it is a SA inferior complex but he does not get anywhere near the recognition he deserves. For example I rate Hawkins very highly but he seems to get about 5x the attention of Tex which is a bit of joke when you look at the stats and the games Tex has won off of his own boot.
