Cannot believe that people are saying Goddard will not be good for Essendon.

Goddard plus Daniher plus improvements in their young mids plus fewer injuries will make them a very good team next year. Goddard will be given licence to roam in and out of the midfield, off half back and half forward. He'll be rejuvenated. We have missed a massive chance to strengthen our mid field to be the league's best. Our window is now, and he's capable of delivering. Very disappointed that we've never been in the game.
We have a player who is more than capable of doing this. You might be familiar with him, he wears No.4 & will only turn 24 next year, rather than 28.

Agree. It's all about improving the list which he clearly does, and if Essendon have the cap space to make it happen good on them.

While in time he will be a good player, the likely hood of Daniher making them a better side in the next 2 years is very remote. There is a big difference between playing on a Ben Rutten compared with a 17yr kid.

Yeah. The kid is monster size and very skilled, but immediate impact at AFL level is extremely rare for KPP

I am completely against trading Garlett and am astounded why people are labelling him trade bait. Garlett is one of the best small forwards in the league and is a game changer when on. He just needs to find some consistency. Id much rather have him playing with us than against us, his speed is freaky and can change games!

"Essendon considering a trade for Scott Gumbleton to Carlton in return for Garlett... picks may be involved stay tuned"
Picks would need to be involved in a big way, very lopsided trade otherwise..... Can't see Gumbleton offering us any more than Levi or Mitchell at this stage
