Rumour has it that thousands of Carlton Members and Supporters are watching with great trepidation
as a senile old man, with some outdated views on game plans, sets about breaking down the club many of us have supported for decades.

It is enlightening hearing Roos, who normally is reluctant to criticise coaches, repeatedly questioning Walker and Simmo languishing in defence while our midfield flounders. Reinforces my thinking and I am sure many others.

We have officially finished 6th, yet MM and many of the blind posters on here, are portraying us as a basket case. We are obviously to believe that it was MM not the players who caused us to overachieve at the business end of the season.

A mini overhaul is one thing, a decimation is quite another. This will test us all.

I feel for the thousands of Richmond supports that will now have to add a number 1 to their gurnseys ... and pretend that they care about Foley.

Funny.

When I got #8 on my jumper and I started hearing the (original) Krooz to GWS rumours I hatched a backup plan to squeeze in a #3 to the left if needed.

I lost it when Carlton did the silly of getting rid of Fevola - won't even blink to see most of this list given the size 15 BOOT up the cazoo - they played Ratten out of a job and continue to take the pizz out of supporters week in week out bye bye fancy pantzers bye bye. If Malthouse wasn't coaching - we would have finished bottom 6 easy.

Just got a bit of info today gang.

Bell is looking at options elsewhere again. Same as last year. Nothing really happening yet at this stage.

Also Robbo is also looking at other options.

Both are not very happy with MM.

Nothing might come of it, but they are weighing up their options.

Players need to start taking responsibility and being accountable for their performances or otherwise.. Bell's lack of awareness, slowness with ball in hand are what's keeping him from being a regular part of the 22, LONG before MM came along..

If we get rid of Robinson or Bell I will be ******* pissed off.

From the sounds of the initial rumour, both are exploring their options rather than the club shopping them around.

If one or both, or anyone else for that matter, decides to leave - good riddance. We don't want anyone here that doesn't want to be here. No-one is irreplaceable.

If Bell or Robbo don't want to be here then they can leave. Too many guys were coddled under the Ratten regime and can't handle it when Mick raises his voice. This is the time when we find out who has the minerals to be a Carlton player. It's probably gonna be painful as we might wave goodbye to players we love but I'm confident we'll come out the other side with a much stronger list.

Not really that concerned about either of them to be truthful.
Their kicking skills are average at best, and we need our mids to be to hit targets at a better ratio than what these two can.

Bell I could sort of believe, after last year and worrying about his opportunities etc.

But Robbo? Thought he'd be as Blue as anyone by now.
Bell shouldn't be pissed off. He spent the first half of the year carving up the VFL and just before getting a call up unluckily broke his jaw. Then spent 2 or 3 games in the 2s again before spending the rest of the season in the 1s. He is a required player with huge upside in my opinion. I would be upset if we lost him.

Robbo seems to love the Blues, not sure about this one.

Both players have issues but it can be worked on. To lose 2 young (ish) big bodied midfielders with plenty of upside would be frustrating. Especially when there's talk of players like Staker and Didak coming in.

And just what has Tom Bell achieved in his 16 league games that qualifies him to be unhappy with someone who has coached 688 games? FMD. If he actually managed to leave his new coach is just going to tell him to tackle, not bump, the ball carrier too.

Both Robbo and Bell are contracted. So if they want to leave they can't hold the club to ransom. We will control negotiations and get a fair trade.

Sounds like Bell and Robbo have tickets on themselves. Good clubs wouldn't put up with their capacity to butcher the ball.

I probably would have been a little annoyed with the club this year if I was Bell, I mean I remember talk when he signed his 2 year contract with a 3rd yr option that he would be the nominated rookie for 2013 and promoted to the senior list in 2014. Now for what ever reasons Curnow was our only NR at the start of the year and Bell didn't get a game until late in the season.

That said I hope the guy stays, and would feel fairly peeved if he did a Grigg and fled instead of doing the work to establish himself as a senior player.
