And if Bell isn't careful he might just cost himself a spot on the senior list.

You don't see Curnow sulking after playing 50 games on the rookie list.

Pretty sure Garlett had similar numbers before he was promoted too.

That said he was, supposedly, promised a NR slot when he signed his contract in 2012. Still not enough to justify him leaving, if he chooses to do so.

If we are to lose one (if not two) of our small forwards, then Didak could, I suppose, play a role for a year or two - particularly if he's simply looking for an opportunity, and not big cash, at this stage of his career.

If, as the rumour suggests, it may be at the expense of Buckley's spot on the list, or getting games into Menzel (or even Graham), then I'll be baffled, however. Recruiting Didak certainly wouldn't address any of the concerns Malthouse aired the other night concerning our lack of run or midfield cattle, and clearly flies in the face of the 'no quick fixes' policy, too.

It's going to be an odd and drawn-out off-season with an unprecedented number of laughable rumours, I suspect.

We get Didak and I'm going to have give serious consideration to my faith in Mick. I've stuck with this club flight through the dark ages, and having not been around to experience the good times in the 70s and 80s it was hard. But getting Didak is just Pagan and Mick Martyn all over again. And if Didak comes at Dylan Buckley's expense I might just lose the plot.

From the sounds of the initial rumour, both are exploring their options rather than the club shopping them around.

If one or both, or anyone else for that matter, decides to leave - good riddance. We don't want anyone here that doesn't want to be here. No-one is irreplaceable.

That is spot on the money, those that want to go or want to be paid overs their worth should be shown the door. Clubs who have over paid uncommitted players on their list tend not to do well.

Bell is barely a B grade midfielder and Robinson is a B grade midfielder. If there is a good offer and they don't want to stay then they can go. Bell is a midfielder who is atrocious below his knees, lacks awareness, is a poor kick, poor agility, slow and very slow off the mark and is not good over head. Robinson is an ordinary kick of the footy and doesn't have the cleanest hands. It is extremely rare for either to have a 30 possession game. TBH I don't see either player getting a lot better if at all. Robinson brings value to the team, bell fills a spot in a team which is desperate. If they think they are hard done by and want to look around they need to have a good hard look at themselves.

Our list hasn't got the ability to finish top 8 let alone top 4 and if all these blokes are looking around and Betts is leaving for money, it doesn't have the attitude either.

Are there seriously still fans that think sending Fevola packing was the wrong thing to do?

That stuns me.

Lachlan Henderson. LACHLAN HENDERSON. We won that deal by so far we should be up on charges. Fev's now screwing around being a fat idiot in some D-grade league, whilst Hendo is our MVP and 23yo. He's our best defender and our best forward. And he's got most of a decade left.

Even if Kane Lucas never plays another game for Carlton, we absolutely smashed that deal. It was the right thing to do, it was the hard thing to do, it was the kind of brave, visionary, let's-not-overrate-our-own, clinical, rational, smart move that successful clubs make and we need to make this off-season. THAT deal is propping our list up right now. We need 3 more just like it.

Anyone still not on-board with trading out Fevola should look themselves in the eye and acknowledge their opinions on our list management are null and void.

And nothing has stopped us from re-recruiting Fev for the last 3 years and we haven't.

That tells you everything you need to know.

QFT! Easy to forget potentially how many years of the Hendo we have left! etsal1

Bell shouldn't be pissed off. He spent the first half of the year carving up the VFL and just before getting a call up unluckily broke his jaw. Then spent 2 or 3 games in the 2s again before spending the rest of the season in the 1s. He is a required player with huge upside in my opinion. I would be upset if we lost him.

Robbo seems to love the Blues, not sure about this one.
Yeah I agree about Bell, I too would be very disappointed if he went that way, but I guess I wouldn't be surprised either, is all I'm saying.

On that note though, let's not eat Bell and Robbo already like the Tiggers are doing to Martin guys ;) There's a lotta rumours and whispers of these sorts of things, probably usually just pushed by the players' managers to squeeze more coin.

I'd hold off on getting too nasty before we know anything for sure.

They don't call us the blues for nothin
This could be a Carlton supporter ode to our great club.

Don't wish it away
Don't look at it like it's forever
Between you and me
I could honestly say
That things can only get better

And while I'm away
Dust out the demons inside
And it won't be long
Before you and me run
To the place in our hearts
Where we hide

And I guess that's why
They call it the blues
Time on my hands
Could be time spent with you
Laughing like children
Living like lovers
Rolling like thunder under the covers
And I guess that's why
They call it the blues

Just stare into space
Picture my face in your hands
Live for each second
Without hesitation
And never forget I'm your man

Without me girl
Cry in the night if it helps
But more than ever I simply love you
More than I love life itself

And I guess that's why
They call it the blues
Time on my hands
Could be time spent with you
Laughing like children
Living like lovers
Rolling like thunder under the covers
And I guess that's why
They call it the blues

Wait on me girl
Cry in the night if it helps
But more than ever I simply love you
More than I love life itself

And I guess that's why
They call it the blues
Time on my hands
Could be time spent with you
Laughing like children
Living like lovers
Rolling like thunder under the covers
And I guess that's why
They call it the blues

For all his sillies - Fev contributed more to on field performance and results than a dozen of the fancy haircutted, PC nancy boys who are currently insulting supporters of the Club with their woeful on field performances on weekly basis.

carry on with putting the boot in though everyone , you are on safe ground in here.
