I loved my last job, and I was good at it.

Really good and I cared.

I was there for five and a half years.

But tides change and the management changed and things went into different tides.

Tides turn.


My last job went into an insane, every fearful and paranoid rampage, demanding we wear body cameras which only freak the homeless people out and make life hard for everyone, the cause conflict not resovle it, then writing people up for not wearing ties at 2am in the morning.

I just fitted up for my
new job.

I asked "do we wear ties?"

"Do you want to?"

"Not really."

"Then don't."

"No plans for body cameras?"

"**** no, who would be dumb enough to record this circus in security? Our job is to stop the shit, not make a Netflix series out of it."

I already love these guys.

I am going to rock this job. It is the real deal, not fear based HR hysteria, but real security focused on providing
tough but fair, common sense, humane and important protection and help for those who need it.

My friend this has been one black biting dark year.

Still I will say this about my former employer, when I admitted I was suffering the bad ass bite of the dark dog depression, they were kind, they showed mercy and they tried to help.

I may not agree with a certain sites security strategy, it may not just be for me, but they did try to help me and get me back to work.

There are a lot of good people in this world, I just needed to admit I needed their help and stop being such an idiot hard ass.
