Obviously has had the message from admin to reduce the post count to save on server space. Just halved this board. Also how is haso supposed to get his own shiny browndog award, he might have to come up with something original and witty. Although to be fair that doesn't seem to be a requirement to get one ;-)

They'll introduce a Homer Simpson award when Haso reaches 1000 Simpsons references. It can't be far off.

Only seen a couple of simpsons episodes (just enough to know the characters you refer to) - but while many many many of the subtler nuances of the references may escape me (then again that could be in real life as well!) the main ones seem to normally come through ... some are just 'huh' but I don't bother asking for interpretations ....
