Liverpool last 4

Cardiff (A) 18th
Huddersfield 20th
Newcastle (A) 15th
Wolves 8th

It is a dream run for Liverpool - if they lose one before final day they don't deserve the title.

Man City last 5

Tottenham 3rd
Man U (A) 5th
Burnley (A) 14th
Leicester 7th
Brighton (A) 17th

If Man City make it to final day without having lost then they will 100% deserve to be champions.

Under any normal circumstances it would be advantage Liverpool except Man City are a super team. It will not surprise one bit if they can pull it off.

YNWA

This doesn't make sense at all, whoever finishes on top regardless will legitimately deserve it.

Liverpool has a dream run because they have already played the teams that City have to come and are on the same points.

The EPL is one of the few sports in the world with a fair fixture.

Doubtful, the buses from the capital will be loaded and the pressure will be on. Good time for a didsbury pub crawl though, the local reds will be in hiding.

United can still pull off the odd unexpected victory. They’ve won at Juve, PSG, Spurs and Arsenal this season and don’t forget won at City last season. All the criticism may fire them up. The likelihood is they’ll get battered though

It's a Derby. Form goes out the window.

We had a real good run against them, to the point where I was as confident against United as I would have been against FC United. But then last year happened and it all turned on it's head.

They've got match winners in the side and while they may not be consistent they are capable. For me United have every chance of getting a result and we'll have to be at our best.

Man City first goals in the last bunch of games.

Spurs: 5th min.
Spurs CL: 4th min.
Palace: 15th min.
Spurs CL: No goal.
Brighton FA cup: 4th min.
Cardiff: 6th min.
Fulham: 5th min.
This is so huge... they always seem to score early which takes pressure off them. Meanwhile we've been behind in some games and level at HT and found big second halves to win games.

If United or any team for that matter can just hold them for a while or even take a lead, then we can see if City will wilt or not.

well last season we scored at the end of games. we had like a ridiculous amount of 90 minute goals from memory
Yeah im not saying you would wilt, but just be nice to see if it could be a possibility.

No team is bottling this. If one team does falter, it's never a bottle. Both teams have been absolutely outstanding and would be worth champions.

absolutely. all joking and banter aside, aside from la liga, two teams in the 90's is nearly unheard of.

Very much so. It will be gutting if we cant do it. Although everyone is saying Liverpool arent going anywhere and will be in the running for league titles in the next few years. But the reality is you cant guarantee it.

It’s quite difficult to process that a team might finish on 97 points but do not win the premier league. Incredible really, even a few years ago Leicester won it with 81. Its a shame that it can’t be awarded to both teams.

there has to be an inevitable fall back to the pack. we'll go very close to 200 points over 2 seasons. if spurs nail their transfer window they should become competitive, seeing what they've achieved with no spending.

And Leicester secured the title (famously) on MD36 with just 77 points.

Liverpool have reached their highest ever points total too at 88, generally enough to win the league, and we're not even at the end of the season. It's almost unprecedented.
If it's their highest ever, think that means it's unprecedented. ;)
