The response to Phil Walsh's death.

Especially the Adelaide/ Eagles game.
That was very emotional, but in terms of touching gestures, I thought the first huddle was the best one. They were pretty well expected after that. It certainly had me balling.

Unforgettable game that was. The raw emotions after the game spoke volumes of the strength and character of the Crows players, and the humility shown by the Eagles players. Remembered clearly we got thrashed by the Eagles, and I was like "proud of you (Crows) boys!" First and only game I didn't give a hoot about the score result. Showing tears and team spirit is just as good as a win!

I was touched by the tribute that Clarkson and Buckley set up, and other clubs then echoed. It was good to see all the AFL clubs genuinely put aside all differences, come together and unite in grief.
meaningful because it was spontaneous and without any sense of anything else other than love for a person/s important to everyone
shows that not everything is about statistics. it is what I love about footy these days.

There's different kinds of moments.
For me this year it's Nat Fyfe not moving on with the play when Will Setterfield was out cold at Spotless and it seemed like everyone missed it. It's important to make a person unconscious is in the right position to breathe. He signalled our bench for help and left only when that was done.
An important reminder if the priorities in sport I think, and Fyfe's character.
Yes I agree, that was a great moment.

Also remember Dawes getting pounded by our fans for doing the same thing. Not by me. People's health is far more important than any goal. And a north player signaled our bench one night too.

I was amazed they played at all. Really brave effort, and yes all supporters and opposition players at that game really restored a lot of faith in human nature.

Our players and the hawthorn players the first game that week really really was a very respectful fitting moment.
