Yes you need a special box from Dick Smith to truly get just how good Anton is right Moomba? :p

Ha ha, forgot about that. ;)

Nothing like watching 10 matches at once using your Dick Smith digibox.

Ah, I miss embers. Was good value.

Aziz Behich has gone to Bursapsor from Melbourne Heart. Lives not far from me, well used to.

Behich said he is excited by the move.

To make a move to a club that plays Champions League football is a dream come true and I really can’t thank Melbourne Heart enough for giving me this opportunity,” Behich said in a statement.

Does he even know where he's going?

Will be sad to see no Mario in the premier league though best thing for city. Also to the city fans on here I read that he only got one assist in his time in the premier league which was against QPR for the winner is this true? If so one assist in three or so years is rather shit. Also do you see yourselves signing a replacement or will Gudetti replace him.

*Read the stat on twitter so needed to check if true or not.

Not true, but it would only be 1 or 2 more than that.

From the sounds of things Guidetti isn't going to be physically ready for a while yet so I think it's essential we sign someone, even on loan.

Lose Mario, get a couple of injuries or suspensions and we limit our options hugely.

as for our options, i don't think it's critical to get someone in on loan. we've basically been playing in 3 strikers this season anyways. a pizarro-esque loan maybe but i can't think of anyone that fits the bill. someone like jamie mackie?

In an ideal world we'd be fine. But a couple of injuries, a suspension or two and we're forced to move Silva out of the midfield, or rely on a kid in Guidetti or Hiwula.

Remember the QPR game last season we played all four forwards. And I'd hate to miss out on a title because we didn't have those options available to us.

FWIW I can't think of anyone suitable either. But I hope Txiki and co are working on it.

Reading €20m rising to €23m.

Nice profit of around €10m+ for FFP purposes and we'll pretty much get our money back on the sale.

Can't say it's been dull. Milan derby late February could be interesting.

20 mil for a striker that gets in more bust ups with his manager/teams mates than he scores goals.

Balotelli represents everything that is wrong with todays football

Why?

Don't fall for the hype.

On field he scored 13 goals in a title winning season. Got the assist for the winner. As of November he had one if the top 10 goal scoring rates (goals per minute) in premier league history.

Off field he's done nothing for anyone to be worried about really.

I'm sure he's a pain at times, and I'm sure he could have put in a lot more effort at times. But there are a lot of things wrong with premier league football that don't cone close to anything he's done.

i'd rather someone do a few stupid things then go around, i don't know, ****ing the wags of teammates. he's done a couple of stupid on field things, but all his off field stuff is just storm in a teacup stuff, bundled together to make him sound like some heinous bond villain at times.

really not shocked he's left with his every move overanalysed by the suffocating english media when it comes to anyone outside of england too.

Scored 13 of his teams 93. A decent tally no doubt, but nowhere near the hype he commands.
54 premier league matches over 2 & 1/2 years for a top side side and finished with 20 goals, 1 assist & 3 red cards. Hardly worth the $250k a week he was on.

Kicked out of Inter for repeatedly having bust ups with players/managers. Moves to England, repeatedly gets himself sent off (which is hard for a striker to do), tries to break a team mates leg at training and is threatened repeatedly by manager to calm down. Only to end up having nust ups with him as well.

Plus add the numerous off-field troubles with fire works ext. All whilst he claims he is misjudged by people. Over paid, over hyped primadona. I have never seen a more self indulgent, over paid player in the premier league.
