I have read that De Bruyne has stopped taking german language classes, though not sure if true or not. Also read around the time he signed for Bremen that he regretted signing for chelsea. Will be interesting to see what he decides to do in the upcoming transfer window, would have him at Arsenal.

Link?

Surprised if true as I'm sure I would have seen/read it.

I saw an interview with him saying that but it was at the start of the season. It came down to him saying that if he knew they'd be signing other guys for his position (like Oscar) he would've had second thoughts.

This is great :D

25 seconds in... "My favourite team is Liverpool and my favourite player is Michael Owen"

Not the most exciting video otherwise. Belgian cup final for U10's or something and he scores 4 goals.

Yaya Toure's agent has claimed that the Ivorian superstar is ready to tell Manchester City he is leaving if a new deal is not concluded by this weekend.
Toure's representative Dimitri Seluk says talks have been ongoing for six months over an extension to his current deal, which runs to 2015.

However, Seluk says that things have not gone according to plan and he does not feel that Toure will stay.
"If he signs a contract in the next three or four days, OK. If not, we will not wait any longer and will start negotiations with different clubs," Seluk is quoted by The Sun.
"Today is Tuesday, so it means by Saturday. We will say 'Thank you. OK, Yaya will leave in May.'
Agent's name isn't familiar to me.
Don't know if this is his normal mo or whether he (and by extension Toure) really is pissed off as he sounds.

said the exact same thing last season. yaya even basically told him to pipe down too.

and the sun. yeah. yaya's going to look at buying out his contract if he doesn't get a new deal by saturday? im sure that'll be cheap. just rubbish.

but yeah, quick, hurry, there's only 26 months left on his contract. don't get caught out txiki.

So 26 months, lets say £200k a week. I make it just over £22m it would cost him to buy out his contract.

Don't think he's going to make that up moving to another team at 30yrs old.

Would take him at United BUT I seriously doubt he is looking at leaving. Won't get that coin anywhere else.

Pretty sure I read that Swansea have put a 30mil price tag on Michu

Liverpool? :D

Don't want him. Wouldn't fit in but 15-20 million I would think is his worth right now.

Read somewhere Aguero may look to go to Real, so would make sense as part exchange

Wouldn't make sense to me. Not interested in Benzema, he's quality when it suits but I think we need to move away from those that pick and choose when dedication, commitment, effort etc are required.

Nothing new to be honest, there were quotes like this from him around 2 months ago. He's already said that he'd listen to big clubs and they were welcome to make offers for him but that he's very happy at Liverpool and sees himself at the club next season. He's one of the best players in the world, I'd be more surprised if top clubs weren't coming for him.

I think based on the improvements to the squad and performances we've shown this season and from what he's said over the last few months, the most likely scenario is that he gives us another season to match his ambition and if we're not in the top 4 or close to by the January 2014 transfer window then he'll look for a move at that point.

I can see him leaving, if a team like Bayern come in with a decent transfer fee for him I think any player would find it hard to turn down an offer like that.

I think there's a snowballs chance in hell of Suarez staying at Liverpool through the summer. Bayern, City, Juve and possibly RM will rightly chase him.

The positive is that I can see Xabi going back to Liverpool, but not before he's surplus to requirements at RM. So likely when his contract expires.

I can't see Xabi going back, not because of his choice, but would FSG be willing to bring him in? All I've heard all year from Liverpool fans is how they are buying young players with re-sale value so if they don't succeed, at least they can offload them for something.

If he comes after his contract expires on a free, they'll still be signon bonuses, and wages to pay and I don't think they'll see it as a worthwhile investment. Joe Allen was brought in to play his role wasn't he?
