Rooney showed the talent and it's paid off. Bargain really.
Ferdinand was among the best defenders in the world when he was purchased and still young, fee is fair enough.
Milner I think went for too much, but he is a solid player IMO. Around 18m I think would be fair value.
Lescott lol
SWP, overpaid
Dowining, double lol
Carrick's fee is fair IMO
Young maybe a little too exp
Jones well too much
Henderson again too much
Rodwell overpriced.
Sturridge is a good fee IMO
Ox you're paying for potential and what S'hampton miss out on. Same with Theo. Probably too much for their ages though.
Powell is too early to judge. 6m isn't bad anyway.
Jones has been a better signing than Young. He has been poor this year. Also Jones is 20/21 from memory. Will be United player for years!!

Always said that Young and Downing should've gone to each others clubs. Would've been better fits

At United we do need a left footed winger (like Bale :P) but Downing isn't much good according to most so maybe not him. However after a great season last year, he couldn't have don much less than Young this year

If we can get Rodwells body right his fee could be a bargain.

It's a big if, but his game against Chelsea was a sign of what he could do for us. And despite a few mistakes early in the piece he's looked comfortable for us whenever he's played.

I saw that game and he was impressive, but in my opinion his potential ceiling is on par with Henderson's (or Cleverley's) and once they fulfill that potential, £15-16m will look about right. Having said that it was probably over the odds for 2 players who were relatively inexperienced at the time. Don't know if I'd go as far as calling it a bargain though!

i think it could be a bargain. young, the talent is obviously there, it all comes down to whether his body holds up and with that play consistent games. if he can get fit over the off season and hopefully get his hammy problems behind him, i would expect him to be starting match day 1 next to yaya.

Hopefully we will be investing some of this in the break!!

After their ground-breaking Aon deal, Manchester United are on the brink of two more mega sponsorship deals.
United have landed another major sponsorship deal with Aon by selling the naming rights of their training ground for £156million.
The Sun says United are also set to announce a new airline sponsor to succeed Turkish Airlines, in a potential £100m contract.
And they are renegotiating with shirt suppliers Nike in a deal that could pay £650m over 10 years.

I really hope United make a solid play for Gotze. With the offer we made for both Hazard and Moura we obviously are willing to spend big to land a top young talent.

Apparently the asking fee is about 40million. Just offer it.

His time at Villa was very good, was at his best playing an inverted winger and cutting in, but was still more than capable of putting a decent ball into the box.
Young, while known as a winger by trade, I thought played his best football as a roaming second striker, able to play both centrally and drift out wide. Was absolutely ruthless on the counter.

it'll be hard to choose between isco, yaya, aguero, messi, silva, falcao, draxler, gundogan and all the others we'll have. lotta money for letters.

Yaya Toure such a class player. I was devastated when Barca decided to ship him off to City. Since he left, Barca look more vulnerable when losing the ball in the midfield (which rarely happens anyway )

As for Messi, yeah u can have him he's no good. Just ask typeclub!

at least with yaya there was a pretty decent replacement in busquets. he's done alright for himself.

messi's struggled to make his name at barca. needs a new club obviously to get his career on track.

Jose Mourinho has put Hulk at the top of his shopping list apparently.
Read that article a few minutes ago actually, it also states that he wants to bring in Falcao too.

Spanish newspaper Marca apparently reporting that we have agreed a small fee for Falcao and will spend upto £43m for him.
Also mentioned that this supposed deal is much like the David de gea deal a few years ago.

I'm not sure how reliable Marca is though???

Rooney out and Falcao in?
