If Mourinho does leave then Real Madrid will be searching for a new DM to replace Alonso. As Rafa would be a likely replacement, 2 CL finals with Liverpool and a couple of Spanish Liga's. Rafa would be a good fit for Real Madrid, even if the English don't recognise his talents. They would then search for the best DM in the world and pay what it takes, Alonso would be off.

As for Ronaldo... Keep dreaming. His contract has time to run and he knows his only hope of another Ballon D'or is with Real Madrid.

No it's not. I believe that if he joined united he would win the ballon d'or again. He's been unbelievable for Real Madrid for 3-4 years now and hasn't won it for a 2nd time.

When he won his Messi wasn't as decisive yet. It was the last year of Rijkaard with Barcelona not playing well anymore and Messi had been injured for most of the second half of the season - I remember he was quite unfit when they met Utd in the semi's.

The following seasons were different. Ronaldo was still at Utd when Messi won his first. Not sure why you believe he would've won more - he's done great at Real from the start.

No thankyou to Hernandez + 27mil for Falcao!!!!! He will be 28 by the time we get him. RVP who despite being average lately was in just as good form when we picked him up (he was 29) and we got him for 24mil.

RvP is just an overrated spud.

The Daily Star says the 19-year-old is the one that got away for United, who first tried to sign him from French club Lens in 2011 but missed out when he chose Real instead.
United scouts have watched the youngster several times since then and sources close to the player claim their interest is genuine.
Varane is under contract until June 2017 and has a release clause worth around £26m.
But Real are so worried about United’s interest that talks are already under way over a new deal which would tie him to the club until 2019 and vastly increase his release clause.

No, just no. Firstly RM wouldn't ever be worried about another clubs interest in there players.
Yeah not too sure Real are worried that United want Varane. Quality young player though and im sure you will see him sign a new long term deal soon, with higher wages and a much larger buy out clause or no clause at all.

spanish footballers are required by law to have a minimum release clause.
