Ramos is taking English lessons apparently. Love for TSO to bring him with him.

Isn't Ramos one of the players that hate him?

SAF has denied the Falcao/Hernandez rumours.

Part of the Schurrle deal is De Bruyne going on loan.....

That part of the deal has finished then already, coz last week De Bruyne said Chelsea want him to quit Werder and play at a more competitive club like Dortmund or Leverkusen next season.

That's exactly what the deal involves......

Schurrle to Chelsea and De Bruyne to Leverkusen on loan. That is the deal that has been reported everywhere.

Yep, that's the deal.

I'd prefer to buy Schurrle and recall KDB though.

Lukaku may end up at Swansea by the sounds of things.

Oops my bad, I somehow was thinking of Marin and how De Bruyne may have gone there as part of that deal.

Swansea want him indeed but why would he go there? I thought Lukaku was happy to stay at WBA for another season. Or maybe he was just getting popular with the fans.

I would only call back De Bruyne if you can give him 75% of starts though. He really needs to play constantly to keep improving at his age.

European football(further his development) is what I've heard. Lukaku is happy to go anywhere that will help him towards his goal of leading Chelsea's line.

He's probably doing it at the same place Ashley Cole did his French/Spanish lessons..

I honestly can't see why players like Hummels & Gotze would want to leave Dortmund. One of the best young teams in the world, one of the best leagues in the world, in their home country.. It would take mega money for these transers to happen.

You answered it.

You can add to that list some of/if not the best home fans in the world. Amazing atmosphere.

I would kill for Gotze and Hummels at United.

Hatem Ben Arfa came out on the weekend saying he had no intention to leave Newcastle in the summer. While that doesn't really mean anything until the transfer window shuts, he may be off the table in any possible move for Carroll.

the thing is a release clause is asking for trouble. i don't think he'll leave dortmund, but it's not like the alternatives being offered are terrible options.

The question is how much Dortmund will be able to guarantee these players that they will stay competitive in the long run. Maybe Dortmund still needs to sell a few players. It makes me think a bit about Leeds in the early days of when things started going wrong, or even before. Hasselbaink left and Bowyer amongst others was rumoured to want to leave quite early already, while the club seemed to have a bright future. Not saying Dortmund will experience anything like Leeds though - they had a similar disaster over 10 years ago already which I'm sure they would have learned from.

And also, clubs like Barcelona and Real have an enormous appeal towards continental European players. For example, everyone in Belgium wants Kompany to go to Barcelona and I'm sure it would be a dream come true for him, even tough he's probably perfectly happy at City and would definitely not have to go to Spain for money.

Schürrle update. Chelsea have now submitted a second, improved offer (€22m + bonus) in case De Bruyne opts out. Ball in Leverkusen's court.

it's "take it or leave it" - no more negotiations

usually a good source. sounds like it depends all on de bruyne. which makes sense, de bruyne is the better player.
