Rooney will most likely play as a midfielder next season, he was brilliant against Aston Villa and his passing was Paul Scholes like. If he can play like that then it will solve our midfield problem. With RVP upfront banging in the goals, he doesn't need to play as a striker anymore, and will chip in with his 10+ goals a season.

Signing Lewandowski will be the end of Hernandez, not Rooney or Welbeck.
We do need a winger though. Nani, young and Valencia are not upto it.

And as for Falcao, he will not flop for Chelsea. He's going to tear teams apart.

There was also talk that Swansea were keen on kasper schmeichel. Makes little sense tbh.

However it was in the fail and I'm pretty convinced that's based purely on the Danish connection with laudrup

falcao has been tearing teams apart since 2009. he's strong, fast, a ripping shot and a top header. he won't flop. just look at what he did to chelsea in the super cup. tore them apart.

before atletico fell apart he had a better goals to minutes ratio than messi and ronaldo. i think that's fallen away now due to atletico's poor form and falcao getting injured in the new year.

Kolo Toure leaving at the end of the season according to the Express. Wants to stay in England.

Would have liked him around for another year but not to be I guess.

Jovetic has agreed terms with arsenal so that seems all but done.

Good bit of business IMO

Where did you read this please? You've got me excited! However couldn't find anything online apart from caughtoffside.com (who regularly post a lot of crap on their site).

Reports seem to be that he is going to Bayern but surely they wouldn't sell their 2 best players to their biggest rivals. Come to United Robert :)

Dortmund didn't want to sell Gotze, Bayern activated the buy out clause and Gotze accepted.

The same could happen with Lewa if he has buy out clause, otherwise there's no way he goes to Bayern.

Why would he go from Dortmund to United/Real anyway.

As crazy as it sounds, it's a downgrade right now.

So joining Real Madrid or Man United, 2 of the biggest clubs in the world is a downgrade?

Very strange statement.
