Would be perfect for United, or maybe Arsenal can finally get that Cesc replacement.

Would be the perfect player for us, exactly what we need. Sell Nani and Young and bring him in, altough I doubt we would be able to get him, i think he snubbed us before and if he was to become available, Man $ity and Chel$ea would have a big bitch fight over him, like you said, a player they don't need.

Cesc was replaced by Cazorla, RVP was replaced by Giroud and Podolski, Song was replaced by a returning Diaby. There are replacements, they just haven't performed as well.

RVP was replaced by Giroud and Podolski? Neither of these guys plays even close to a similar style as RVp. Its two square pegs in a round hole. You replace RVP with a player who plays similarly. Not with a bloke like Giroud who doesnt fit the formation (isnt pacey enough).

Diaby is a permacrock and Arsene knew it. Relying on Diaby to replace Song is no different then relying on Kieron Dyer to replace Adel Taarabt. Its not going to happen. Wilshere isnt really a Song replacement as once again he isnt that type of midfielder. Song well and truly went unreplaced.

Depends if he's signed a senior contract with them yet. €6.5m is still a lot for an 18 year old but no doubt if he signs/has signed a long term deal with Barça they'll set it at €40m or something.

It was a decent effort by Arsenal to finish top 4 last year after losing Cesc, Nasri and Clichy. But it was mainly due to the amazing form of RVP. To lose him and Song and replacing them with players that really where never going to fill the void was poor on Wengers behalf. Podolski was the only player I feel could even half fill the void of RVP.

I wonder what it would mean for Hernandez if we signed Lewondowski though. Welbeck just signed 4-5 year contract from memory and can player as a winger (albeit not that well) but Hernandez wouldn't get much of a look in with RVP, Rooney and Lewondowski all there

it will be if he did because we rarely see it with such big names. inter would be better off without him in all honesty. massive wages, deteriorating quickly and has an ordinary attitude from all reports. inter are struggling anyways so getting him out and a younger, fresher and eager face in would be better.
