Probably already mentioned but Juve want Higuain. Have they signed Llorente? if so there team will look very good come next season.

Rooney has removed 'Manchester United player' from his twitter profile.

Basically the equivalent of changing your facebook relationship status to 'single' after you got in a fight with your girlfriend.

Andy Carroll just won the West Ham Chairman's Player of the Year at their awards night, and said in his acceptance speech that he'd love to be playing there again next season. I'd imagine they'll be sitting down soon to work out a deal to grant that wish. It's a good fit for him there and it looks as though the manager and the owner want to build the team around him.

Get it done. 17 million please :)

Geez it's so hard to keep up with all the Liverpool transfer action.

:(
At least you have transfer action! Although I suppose we should focus on getting into the PL first :p

I love transfer action!

Rooney straight swap for Messi, I've heard from my second cousin's boyfriend's goldfish that Messi has always wanted to play under Moyes.

This is fantastic news.

word is that monaco have triggered falcao's release clause. comes from a place that doesn't usually make outlandish claims.

i can't see him moving though, the monaco experiment won't be successful for many reasons.

i can't see him moving though, the monaco experiment won't be successful for many reasons.

reasons or seasons??

Ligue 1 need some competition for Saint-Germain, and surely Monaco is a place people with an equally over-inflated sense of self worth would go?

reasons

they have a tiny stadium. it's not even 20k in size.
french tv money is paltry
the tax rates in france are incredibly high

there's stuff about thiago silva, ibra wanting to leave psg due to these high tax rates. monaco is in an even worse position. unless they get a sponsorship deal such as psg did with qatari tourism monaco are going to be chasing their own shadows for a long time.

still, hats off for the ambition.

Thought Monaco were exempt from the high tax rates as they're not in France?
Yeh, thought Monaco was a 'tax haven' given the amount of international sports people residing there.
