Apparently Mario Gomez is off to Napoli. I wonder where Cavani will end up.

where does everybody think higuain will go?

Juventus.

Man I hate the transfer window, always so much BS floating around.

Further to that, have to deal with the anxiety of having your star players linked to other clubs

Oh well, only 3 months of it to go I guess :D

Players linked to coming in over the weekend:
  • Victor Wanyama (Celtic)
  • Will Hughes (Derby)
  • Tom Ince (Blackpool)
  • James Tomkins (West Ham)
Players linked to leaving:
  • Cabaye - PSG
  • Tiote - Lokomotiv Moscow
  • Cisse - Anzhi
  • Ben Arfa - Monaco

apollo_creed who do you support in the epl?
Aston Villa.

As for Chelsea - stuck up for them in the Mourinho era because of the sometimes unsubstantiated hate some had towards them and their players. Also liked a lot of their players from that time. (Carvalho, Makelele, Lampard, Tiago, Robben, Crespo, Duff)
Supported them in the Champions League and preferred they won the title to the other contenders. Never a second team, never will have a second team. Don't believe in that, as much as some like to claim I'm a Chelsea fan.

Have no preference for Chelsea these days in any form and probably prefer Tottenham and Arsenal - if we're talking teams in comparable positions. Don't dislike Man City either.

As for Liverpool - it's not the club (although under Dalglish it was) it's the fans. As a club in the Benitez era - or even now I have nothing against Liverpool. (Suarez removed)
Just can't fathom some of the deluded rubbish (in volume and level to other clubs) that some of the Liverpool fans contrive to believe.

Why did I think he had gone to Pool?

Pretty sure they were heavily linked to him a few weeks/months ago - almost to the point that it seemed like the only thing that needed to be sorted out was the transfer papers.

Not sure if their interest has cooled but seems a few teams (ourselves included are looking at him). Read this morning that Inter are also considering him, maybe he will follow in his dad's footsteps and try his luck in Italy.

Tim Röhn @Tim_Roehn
According to BILD #Bayer will not get #Aubameyang. Bad news for #Schurrle. My source told me today: #CFC will withdraw bid for him soon
8:17 AM - 3 Jun 2013

Schurrle deal on the verge of collapsing. Rather just recall KDB anyway and wait until the end of next season for Schurrle when his 13mil euros buyout kicks in.

I think if Thiago does come to England it will be United. Can't see him going to Madrid. Those rumours started after vague comments from Perez IIRC. His Dad is his agent I think as well so it won't be money he's after so I think he would choose United over city

Is nothing special.

never said he was

but i'll take someone who has taken apart the european champions over someone who isn't even the best midfielder in the dutch league any day of the week.

Can't KDB play on the wing anyway? Or am I imagining things from FM when I trained him as a winger?

Yeah, he can play anywhere across the front 3 behind the striker. Plus he could also drop back and play as the attacker in the pivot. I would rather us just recall him and spend the Schurrle cash on other positions, but we've(or Emenalo) been chasing him hard for a couple of seasons now and is very highly rated by the club.
