I haven't seen Hulk play much, probably only 2 or 3 times at the most and he might struggle in England, and he might be a diving nancy boy and whatever but he's more than built to play in a physical league should he choose to play like a man. Talent yes. I'm not going to argue he's a quality player when he is on his game.

But his attitude is what worries me. This is a guy that questioned United and Fergusons desire to win, how do you think he's going to cope with Arsene's philosophy? Is he going to want out after we don't spend $50 million every year?

What about his fitness? Has he got what it takes to be committed to staying fit? Is he going to be smoking and drinking until 30? Washed up by 31?

Also his wage - $200,000 + would be more than double the highest paid player at Arsenal.

Too many question marks to take that risk.

Gomez is a pretty good get but need to boost the City flanks still. Can't keep relying on Silva, one of the reasons they didn't fire last season was Silva's poor form

silva wasn't really in poor form, that's a bit of a myth. his chances weren't being finished. had the 2nd most chances created stat in the league or something, but was about 8th or 9th in assists.

have him creating those chances to a pure scorer like gomez and suddenly everything looks different.

that might be the only scenario where a striker who has scored at least 15 league goals in 5 of their last 6 seasons sounds like a good move to other supporters.

would take 39 and 41 goals all up in a season thank you very much.

Not sure why we are trying to get Ilori out of the way, he is young and obviously one for the future. I thought we might put all our efforts into securing Papa as he is ready to step straight in next to Agger.
