Yep, he's going to cost the buyout(which really is still under what he's worth).
Malaga are just posturing. They're desperate for the case.

graham hunter saying isco could have a medical this weekend. goes against him leaving on holiday but hunter is pretty glued on with spanish transfers.
fee seems to be reported at 21 mil. a steal if true.

it's not like malaga are in a strong position. banned from europe for not paying their bills, isco doesn't seem interested in going anywhere but with pellegrini. malaga need the cash, they're not in the position to be posturing. it's similar to why cazorla moved so cheaply.
there's nothing fair about football.
if we can get isco for 21 mil we're going to pay 21 mil.
if we could get him for lower then we would be morons not to.
Well yeah but I don't think you will. You offer 21m they ask for the buyout.
This talk of 20m is ridiculous.
Not that ridiculous, the bloke is talented but he's only been playing senior football a year and while he was good he didn't dominate the league. I do think people are getting a bit carried away with an excellent U21 tournament and a lot of potential.
Malaga are skint and struggle to pay their players and I'm sure the prospect of a deal not going through isn't even a consideration for them.
And at this stage we don't know what Isco's preference is, is it City or no-one, Real or no-one or is he prepared to go to whoever gives Malaga the most cash.
I reckon Malaga would know that if they hold out for the buyout either you guys or RM(whoever Isco chooses) will pay it, whether that's straight cash or involving players on loan is yet to be seen.
Maybe, but I doubt it. We weren't prepared to pay €17m mid year before he signed his contract, and while his value has increased I don't think it has nearly doubled.
Holding out is not necessarily the best thing for Malaga either, they've got a squad to build for next season and they aren't going to do that without Isco money.
So some compromise is likely, buyout clauses in Spain are normally always more than the club actually values the player.
Aren't buyout clauses everywhere like that? When you set a buyout clause, surely you'd make it more than you think the player's actively worth.
