As opposed to city? No matter where he went, that was going to be a draw card.not being swayed by money
real madrid
good one.
Being linked to LFC and EFC, is he a southampton/cardiff standard player?
True but how could either of us know? Do you admit it would be easier for the young guy to be living in the same country, probably making similar money, to choose Madrid over City? If it wasn't for Pellegrini, City wouldn't have even been an optiondepends on what his intentions are. not all parents are like that.
extremely doubtful of course, it ends up being madrid. very few footballers, especially young spaniards, can resist having zidane get on the phone and ring you to get you to join madrid.

I actually think City win out of this. It's a lot of coin for someone that isn't all that proven.

I never pretended Madrid didn't. I suggested that saying City weren't doing exactly the same thing was lunacy.well money is a drawcard for any player moving anywhere. to pretend that madrid don't pay big bucks is lunacy.
i've never admitted it wasn't.
but the way it currently seems is that we've had stuff agreed with isco, then zidane/madrid have swooped in and offered he or malaga something to turn his head. until it's official either way that's all there is to go by.
Where did I say that? Type Club may have suggested it.i have never pretended we didn't. no idea where you got that from in all honesty. i was responding to the idea that seemingly isco would've turned down megabucks to go to clever spending and fiscally responsible madrid.
and i didn't say it was official. the opening sentence was meant to sort of be a general state of play sum up with all the rumours that have been going round. some say we never made a bid, some say we had stuff agreed and isco had his head turned when zidane rang him after the u/21 tournament, either way i've not suggested any of them are the right one. the only point i've definitively made is that i don't really care if he moves to madrid.
Reports coming out of Napoli that the Cavani deal is done. €58Mil is the final figure.
Excellent news if true.
Wanyama has rejected terms put forward by Southampton. Cardiff now the front runners but I think he's holding out for an offer from a bigger club.
Its good to see a young player not being swayed by money. He appears to be well advised by his dad.
Here's some highlights of Real's potential new signing
Where'd you get that from? A mate last night said the deal was a no-goer. Fock i hope he comes! Ill be investing heavily into some replica's!
Was a striker really Chelsea's biggest problem last year?
Surely Torres would be out the door now.
Tores to juve maybe?
Cant keep him on the bench.
Whose city gonna get up front
