Same difference. Both he and the club have agreed to the terms (as reported by all major news outlets and several other reputable sources), and will sign as soon as the papers are drawn up.

Regarding the club 'standing firm' WorldCup2022OZ, Raheem himself tweeted that he couldn't believe the headlines when it was reported by The Daily Mail that he was asking for £50k/week and that he "would never have asked for such a ridiculous amount". I don't think the figure ever would have been too far from the £30k/week he's ended up with.

No it's not the same difference.

The only evidence you have is that major news outlets have reported it, of course they never lie.

Sure it's likely but it's hasn't happened yet.

I think Pep will find that its much more difficult to coach a side that hasn't been drilled from a young age to play a certain way.

Barren Munich is my best bet. Out of interest he once had a trial at Man City.

United will make sure they get who want and I suspect that will either be Pepe or Moyes. Can't see anyone with a low profile coming in to replace SAF

That would be my 1 and 2 as well.

You're being pedantic, I didn't say it had happened, I said the contract had been agreed and was just waiting on his signature. It's as good as done.

There are news outlets and there are news outlets. When the likes of The Times, BBC, The Guardian, The Independent and The Liverpool Echo (generally very reliable for Liverpool/Everton rumours) are all reporting the same thing on top of Rodgers himself saying Sterling would be signing this week, you can assume it's accurate. Either way it's irrelevant, following Raheem's own twitter account it's been obvious for months that he was never going to be signing for anyone else.

I mentioned this a few weeks ago. He's achieved great things with Barcelona but I'm interested to see how he fares at another club where his style hasn't been ingrained into the players from a young age. If he can do that then his standing as a great manager will be indisputable.

How far away do you think it will be before you need to worry about that?

I never said you did.

im glad we've hired two ex barca big wigs to ensure jose doesn't manage us. can't stand him, i don't care how good he is, he's a whingy, moaning, disgusting human being. the eye gouge on tito in one of the clasico's was terrible. continually wants to control absolutely everything, even if it costs him his job (like it's going to with perez and real). put in his outrageous pay packet for all those club harming qualities. fantastic manager, despicable human being. would prefer pep or carlo if we're going down that path.

Our plans for the next manager to come in have already started, talks have begun but nothing has or will be revealed until the time is right.
