hopefully it's mark hughes. ex player coming back to paint himself in further glory

Yes yes yes. Come on United you know you want it.

Mark Hughes is always welcome back at Man City, a real fan favourite.

He was welcomed back on May 13 this year. 3 points came in real handy. :thumbsu:

Have heard that Sunderland and Villa are interested in John Guidetti on loan in January. Have previously heard Everton were keen.

Hope something gets done, really keen for him to have a crack at the premier league to see if he can replicate his Holland efforts. Villa would be my best option at the moment.

im glad we've hired two ex barca big wigs to ensure jose doesn't manage us. can't stand him, i don't care how good he is, he's a whingy, moaning, disgusting human being. the eye gouge on tito in one of the clasico's was terrible. continually wants to control absolutely everything, even if it costs him his job (like it's going to with perez and real). put in his outrageous pay packet for all those club harming qualities. fantastic manager, despicable human being. would prefer pep or carlo if we're going down that path.

When asked about Jose taking over from SAF, Bobby Charlton said "Great coach, but that's it".

Something like that anyway.

He went on a bit to say that some of the things he does aren't right for Man United.

Was surprisingly negative about him.

SAF loves him but seems to be the only one.

I'm more on the Pep side now as I would prefer a long term manager to a part time.

I am just hoping that United go for Moyes.
Please...

Saw Strootman a couple of days ago against NEC on Setanta. Safe to say it wasn't his best performance considering the reports about him. Lost the ball a couple of times and headers were off-target, but he also made 1 or 2 key interceptions. Gotta see a bit more of him before a final verdict.

I would love to get Guardiola, who wouldn't. Mourinho can be a w***er sometimes so i can see where Charlton is coming from. Plus, Jose relies on a bit of spending before he gets into things. Moyes, i wouldn't mind either.

Quaresma has been relseased by Beskitas, they bought out the last 6 months of his contract. Apparently Liverpool are interested - anyone know any more?

has a terrible attitude and doesn't want to put in the hard yards. incredible talent though, but way too late for him to get his head right. very greedy too. loves to do tricks and make it all about himself.

funny how the portuguese seem to have a few similar wingers.

Not sure a guy that needed a rest after a couple of years is the long term certainty you might be looking for.

I have no issue with that.

Please explain.
You kind of did.

You said Pep is more of a longterm manager, so would prefer him. Moomba said he might not be a longterm manager after his Barca stay, then you said I am fine with that.

I said I was fine that he has taken a year off. That doesn't stop him being a long term manager.

The way the convo panned out did not come across that way. Sounded more like you were fine that he was not going to be a long term manager option. Anyway...I agree.

Fair enough.
