Chelsea into Villa apparently.

Lamps told to leave.
If true that actually makes me sick. We give Mikel a 5 year contract and tell Lamps to piss off. Deadset. What an absolute - absolute disgrace. I can't believe the treatment he's getting, one of if not the most iconic Chelsea players of all time. Shows he still has something to offer by scoring a bomb on the weekend ...but nah, we don't want ya mate.

David Villa on loan for the rest of the season would be awesome though.

Replacement for Bale? If not Spurs are building a fair Squad.

Replacement for VDV. Would set up our mids very well.

-------------Dembele-----------Sandro/Parker------
-----Lennon------------------------Bale-----------
----------------------Sneijder---------------------
----------------------Defoe/Adebyor------------

Put Willian there for Lennon and it's looking good. Or play the two strikers.

I wonder if SAF makes a move again.

looks like Sturridge and Ince will happen but will lfc likely get anyone else?

They should try and sign some good players.

ince will turn out alright but i don't rate sturridge at all. unless he's the focal point of an offence (bolton) he's never really impressed.

if the 12 mil deal goes through in extra's all together we've received 8.3 mil for him.

They were before rodgers came in.

lol no they were not and Sterling was non-existent. Rodgers brought Allen from Swansea where he was their best player.

rodgers made allen into a good player.
sterling was in the reserves, Johnson was average imo so was enrique.

Ive watched LFC for years, imo rodgers gets the best out of players

Rodgers guiden Allen wonderfully, was hardly average though, too young to have that tag. Sterlings the same.

As for the other two, they had both shown that they can and were damn good players. They did however become stale under Dalglish.

Im glad he is our manager.
Think he is right man for the job

My comment was he can make average players look good.

All those names you've mentioned are very talented footballers, perhaps the point you're trying to make is that Rodgers' system is getting/will get the best out of them?

I think most Liverpool fans recognize that Sturridge and Ince aren't the sorts of players that are going to come in and tear up the league. What they will do is improve our options in attack, the part of the field that is for me our only real weakness at present. There'll be further strengthening during the summer of that there is no doubt, but if Ince can bring even half the form he's shown in the Championship and Sturridge can bring us goals with the same regularity as he did at Bolton and Chelsea in 2011/12 prior to the injuries that have seen him sidelined for much of this season, then they will be valuable assets if we are to make a push for 4th during the 2nd half of the season. Both he and Ince are still young and certainly have plenty of room for improvement. If they can realize even half of their unquestionable talent then at the very least the club will break even or make a profit on these signings which would be nice for a change.

Looking at the bigger picture I think the players Rodgers has brought in/is bringing in have the making of what will be a very strong squad in a few years, and to be honest it's exciting to have so many young footballers with so much potential. Obviously not all of them will fulfill that potential, but it's a change from having an ageing squad where you knew that inevitably every one of those players would be regressing. With our current squad, it's easy to see where the improvement will come from and if that improvement doesn't happen for certain individuals as anticipated, the club can still move them on for a reasonable fee (I've lost track of how many older, big salary players we've had to release on free transfers over the past few years).

Liverpool should try to get Jovetic.
