Again, de gea is only young, will become one of the best keepers in the world when he hits his peak. Needs to bulk up and have more confidence, and of course, work on his English. When he is 28-29, he'll be awesome, but will be at Real Madrid by then.

De Gea is one of the best shot stoppers in the world. Some of his saves are unbelievable. He does have to iron out a few rough spots but he will be fine. Do not want him to leave

Cant say I agree with you, Van Der Sar was much better, De Gae just doesn't command the penalty area and he's been there for some time now. I certainly feel confident whenever a corner is taken with him in goals. Definitely a great shot stopper though but to be a success in the EPL you need to be commanding and physically imposing. Two things De Gae will never be IMO. Having said that there isn't too many top class keepers available, Reina has been off form for a few years now and Casilllas/Buffon aren't going anywhere. I reckon someone like Steklenburg would be perfect for United or possibly even Begovic.

Keeps reach their peak at around 29/30 apparantely and he is only 22 IIRC he has a while to go before in his prime. His presence isn't great at the moment but it was better than last season and he is improving. If ge can iron out that in his game he will be one of the best keepers in the world. For what it's worth I reckon his shot stopping is superior to VDS but overall he is obviously well behind.

Is their any chance that Sneijder would come to Gala? I believe we are interested.

We're in the last 16 of the champions league and have drawn a beatable team in Schalke but I'm not sure that would be enough to attract him.

What is the most reliable source of information on the internet for transfers/rumours that people use?
There aren't many and obviously each club will have different sources you can get generally reliable information from. Most of the football writers at The Times are pretty well connected and are usually spot on with their information, I just follow a few of them on Twitter because they'll post a lot of things on there that may not make it to The Times itself. If you look around there are generally a few other people who will have connections with staff within a club and will be able to pass on information that way, it becomes pretty easy to work out who's talking sh*t and who isn't.

zaha strongly linked to tottenham/united, apparently tottenham have put in a bid but nowhere near the ridiculous 20 mil palace want.

walcott ain't leaving arsenal and i never thought he would. agents at play 101.

Yeah we'll get Ince, Blackpool are just haggling over the fee. A 35% sell on clause was inserted into his contract when he first moved there from Liverpool so we'll get him at a significantly discounted price.

Walcott will stay at Arsenal, 'player displays career best form while pursuing a 30% improvement on his wages'. What a shocker! I just didn't think Arsenal would bend over for him, they haven't for several other key players in the past.

The current asking price for Zaha will scare most clubs off. I'd imagine he'll end up being sold for significantly less than the £15-20m being touted and instead will have a sell on clause inserted into his contract with performance based payments to be made to Crystal Palace.

Ince looks like being the only other permanent signing though there may be another loan move for LFC, Gameiro from PSG is being strongly rumoured. He was already restricted to substitute appearances this season and now with Lucas Moura joining the club his game time will obviously be diminished further. We'll be making our big move(s) in the summer, theres more and more talk that Eriksen will be our #1 priority to fill that #10 role that Rodgers mentioned the other day. Apparently we've had scouts at the majority of Ajax's games this season to watch him. Would be a phenomenal result for the club if they could pull that off.

i still remember gameiro being linked to melbourne heart. besides a nice wage boost him leaving lorient killed his career. if he could have his time over again he probably would've chosen valencia.
