How about the line about buying super quality players and bringing in players like Park and Andre Santos?

The board are to blame too, but when you have a man as stubborn as AW in charge of our football club, he's not going to get off scott free. His attitude is despicable.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but apparently Walcott has been omitted from the 2013 Arsenal calendar after being on the front cover of the 2012 edition. If nothing else it sounds like the marketing team aren't expecting him to hang around.

Diaby plays as a holding midfielder, you also have Wilshere coming back. Those two *should* replace Song. Giroud was league 1 leading goalscorer and you should know Arsenal were never going to buy a proven superstar striker.
I'm not saying Wenger has succeeded in the transfer market with the replacements, but on face value they were very astute purchases. In reality they haven't turned out that way, wouldn't really be putting Wenger in the shit for it.

Yeah definitely. In a perfect world. Although spending that sort of money on a replacement hastily can also lead to an Andy Carroll situation. It's just never straight forward.
