mancini tried to get rvp. everyone knew that and he admitted it ages ago. whether it went past that is the up in the air part. the most common story i've seen is that we made an enquiry, and decided not to take it any further than that.

What seems to have been ignored by some is that he's also said that we didn't start our business until the last three days of the window.

It amazes me that Juventus didn't go for Robin, him and Vucinuc would have been perfect together imo. But he went to united so it doesnt need to be discussed just like whether manici made a formal bid for him or not. Sadly his at united wearing a table cloth and that is not going to change for few years.

Now lets discuss transfer that could happen. I will start by saying that I think Arsenal will buy Zaha and will look to get a player in from spain whether that be Villa or Lopez or maybe even Turan who has been linked but I think thats more agent talk trying to get him better wages. Hopefully we can sell chamack, Djourou and Arshavin if not at the very least loan them out to accomodate positions for new players to come in. We also need to find either a DM or big box to box player like Yaya or our own Diaby.

Im pretty sure his contact is up at the end of the season so we will be trying our best to sell him rather then loan. Personally think he would do well at a club fighting relegation and could keep them up as long as he is motivated and wants to play which he hasn't wanted to do for us since his first season.
