Dortmund papers saying that Dortmund will be holding a press conference to announce the signing of Nuri Sahin. Great talent but just didn't have the mentality to play in the Premier League. Played 2 great games (v Norwich and v West Brom in the League Cup), but the rest he's been found wanting by his inability to adjust to the quicker tempo of the league. It also surprised me that for a player who made his name as a top class deep lying midfielder with Dortmund, he is seemingly incapable of tackling and his defensive positioning has been horrible.

Sad that Sahin didn't work out, he mightn't have played all that well most times, but you can see the talent and the intelligence that made him very good

In hindsight he should've gone to Arsenal, would've fit right in there, instead of competing with one Steven Gerrard for the same spot

I've watched every game he's played this season and thought he's having a pretty good year(hasn't lost any pace either) and a two year contract should be on the table, but hey each to there own I guess.
