this is exactly right. gareth barry is ours. a vital player to our team. another team? 5 mil at most. milner's probably another one. every team has them, a player that is important to your own team but would not fit in at another.
The price to prize them away is not worth the risk they'd match that output elsewhere. It's not a guarantee Hernandez would flop elsewhere but has he really shown enough for clubs to want to put up the 20-25m Man United would want for him. I'd say not

On playing ability Nani is 30m, but you would only get around 20m for him.

With Anzhi/Zenit involved he would get 20mil for Nani and to be honest I would take that every day of the week however I don't think we can sell him right now while Valencia/Young are in such poor form and Kagawa just came from injury

Don't want Chicarito leaving. I just bought a jersey with his name on the back!!!
I have read both of the Madrids are interested and they wouldn't get him for less than 20mil and 20mil seems fair. His finishing which is what he is renowned for has actually been pretty poor lately but his on the box movement his unreal and he would get on the end of so many at Real

Tl;DR. Would get around 20mil for either of them

Nani won't just willingly go to Anji/Zenit. He's running down his contract (18 months left) and United are desperate to get rid.

They'd be lucky to get £20m, not many clubs that would want him, could afford him at £20m and he would be prepared to play for.

Could be used as part ex for a player but I dont think a lot of cash will change hands.

Little poo would have value in the market. Young, decent goal scorer (with a few question marks). I could see £20m but agree that he'd probably be worth more to United than they'd get for him.

I reckon we'd prefer the money but I have seen him + 15mil for rodriguez floating around

Interesting prospect, but kizza is right. We lose that deal on current standings.

Hernandez is a difficult one to gauge; doesn't seem to offer a whole lot generally, but his biggest strength (finishing) is the most important one of all. Add in the fact that he's still young and the prestige of having played for Man U and he'd probably be fetch between £15-20m.

Put it this way, we won't be selling him for less than 18mil I wouldn't think
Apparanetely after his first season Madrid offered 24mil + Diarra but we knocked it back. Not sure if that was bs though or not

I think that's reasonable.

Not a great all round game and question marks over his capacity to perform 90 minute a game week in week out. Clubs just aren't going to spend more than £20m for a super sub and a finisher, no matter how good he is at it.
