How many starts though? That's the thing, the kid hardly gets game time, yet scores so much. I'd imagine him being the go to guy up forward and giving him an extra boost of confidence could possibly make him a 20+ a season scorer easily. OR he could crumble, yet to be seen. He's definitely worth more than 10mil in my mind.

Theres a reason why he doesn't get the starts. If he could replicate his scoring rate over 90 minutes week in week out he would be the first name in the starting lineup. But often his goals come as a sub (against tired defences), and he looks average more often than not when he has to do it from the start.

Fair enough, I haven't seen it that way, I've always given him the benefit of the doubt. Still I'd love him at Chelsea!!

This thread is seriously lacking in Hernandez and Nani talk, I'm absolutely dying to find out what you all think their value is... 4 pages so far, must be a slow window.
FWIW some of the #'s United supporters are throwing around are ridiculous, particularly for Nani. I think someone said he has 18 months remaining on his contract. If it is because of injuries that he has been a turd, wouldn't that be even worse for his value seeming as that would increase the risk and more of a chance he will never be back at his best? On top of those factors, I don't see him signing for peanuts. I think United would seriously consider anything between 10-15 mil, it's just a shame it has been so long since he has produced his best and I think that and the reasons I've mentioned already he is not worth the same amount as you see the top players go for.

If someone disagrees with this I promise not to drag out a 4 page argument. I understand logic and reason isn't a tool often used when making points on this board but thought I should add my 2 cents as someone who neither loves or hates the players or club that they play for.

Rogic has allegedly flown to Scotland to sign for Celtic which means I guess that it is as good as a done deal. So this means what, 2-3 years before he is signed by a mid table premiership side? This can only be good for 2014 at least as it is very underwhelming looking at the current Australian squad.

Remy to QPR seems to have gone through. I'm pretty sure it was as little as 6 months ago that there were bigger clubs chasing him. Interesting where he has ended up.

"I want to go back to Chelsea WHEN I can play every game." He wants a career much akin to Drogba, one of his idols. You can tell by the way he plays. Hernandez is a goal sneak, a great super sub and is creative. Scored 20 goals in his debut season, is no world class superstar but still a very good striker. If we were to sell him (I hope we don't), we should get something around £15-20m for him. As for Nani, he'd go for £20m.
