It's not a tin foil hat brigade, it's just your opinion on this matter is a wee bit ******ed is all.

Putting aside the inappropriate comment, even if my opinion was an unsound one its still an opinion, not a ****ing incitement.

I doubt Barca would want Courtois as he's not really the type of keeper they require. They would prefer someone with brilliant feet so they can play out from the back, which Courtois isn't. Plus, I imagine they'd be looking for a Spanish players first and foremost.

On Zaha

"If Zaha goes to Man Utd, good luck to him," Wenger told a press conference on Tuesday. "We were never in for him. Never."

Soccernet.com

Thanks Arsene, Now CP can stop asking for so much money as only one team is interested.

Man Utd just about closed the deal for Wilfred Zaha from Palace for 17m.

Would have to be close to a record deal for a championship or below player?

In saying that, the kid is absolute class, more than a few C.Ronaldo reminders for SAF imo.

Nope, no way.

AVB in Glasgow scouting Gary Hooper apparently. Could be a decent 3rd choice striker as long as he isnt on big wages as I dont think he is the long term fix

The club have announced that we're paying Inter €7.5m for the transfer and Sneijder €5m per season.

Basically that's €95k p/w in euros or £80k p/w in pounds.

Edit: That's with the sign on fee included. Technically it's a €3.9m sign on fee divided over 3 seasons, so €3.2m wages + €1.3m is €4.5m, and he gets another 500k for 20 appearances.

You would think there would be a sign on fee as well

All included in the 5m per year.

Glad you have realistic expectations.

I'm not a Man Utd fan at all, despise them

In saying that, this move reeks of Bale from Southampton and Rooney from Everton imo.

He's a full England international without premiership experience (doesn't happen), the way he runs at defences, powers to the line, cuts back inside, pace, ball control in tight, runs at 2 or 3 men, and a left winger to boot will only remind Ferguson of what he had going at Utd few years ago.....

They're trying to get him for 10m, Palace are firm for 15m+.

Can't believe there arn't more clubs in for him personally, the premiership suits his style, as does CL with his counter attacking game, imo, he will develop into one of England blue chip next generation players, after Gerrard, Lampard and co move on.

10-15 is cheap for potentially one of the best wingers in the league.

I would be pissed of if we spent more then 10million on potentially a great player. I could understand if he had top line experience but in the end he is a Championship player and worth around 10million.

Thats what was said about Bale when Fergie wouldnt up the 5m bid to Southampton before Jol and Arnesen (or maybe it was one of Commoli's few good buys) offered 5m + 5m incentives which as we've seen has easily been met. With young Brittish talent you have to pay top dollar and hope for the best. Stories saying he will stay at Palace until the end of the season. Would love for him to stay there next season if they were to go up and prove himself. Would possibly set up Palace for a very long time if that was the case because the 10-15m would end up being 20m easily

True.

But I think he will only be a CP player until the end of the season and only because we have loaned him back.

Isn't Ince's contract out in the summer?

We can just get him then. He wants to come to LFC.

I couldn't imagine Blackpool would be playing hardball like this if he was out of contract come season end.
