Sorry bit of a rough day, was reading it like you knew everything and you're giving an answer that couldnt be debated. My apologies.

No need to apologise, I do know everything.;)

If true that's quite strange considering a player of his talent would always have been looking to move to a bigger club at around this point of his career, signing a contract of that length would only make that more difficult.

I know a lot of people saying DDG will leave but a few United players/ ex players think otherwise. Haven;t actually heard the club say anything about him leaving
Michael Owen on Twitter :
Always thought the stick De Gea got at the start of his United career was harsh. He is top class and will only get better.

Read Anton Ferdinand on loan to Bursaspor will happen this window.

Djib Cisse has already gone out on loan to some club in Qatar I think.

Cleaning out all the underperforming shite, 'Arry working wonders again. I hear they are also in for Malouda which fits in with their usual recruitment policy. Was genuinely shocked when they signed Remy.

£3.5m according to the Fail. Diame is saying Wham aren't honouring that and threatening to report them to the FA.

Wonderful World of the tabloids.
The Sun says double that.

And apparently Wenger keen on David Villa* for £10 mill, but will wait to the closing hours of the transfer window before making his move. o_O

*Was just going to put Villa, but even after last night that might still be a little light on for their whole squad. :)

I hate how clubs do this, just don't understand it.

Sure they might save a few hundred thousand by throwing in a low bid at the end of the window but there's plenty of games in January and to me it seems a false economy to wait until the end.

I'd like the January window to last for 3 days to stop a months worth of bullshit and just let teams get on with their seasons.

But isn't it just a reflection of life in general? I.e., we often need an impending deadline to be stimulated into action. The whole "if it weren't for the last minute, nothing would ever get done" idea.

It's not necessarily logical, it's just the way things work.
