Anyway, so Wenger apparently wants January transfers limited to 2 per club. Can't really see the point in it to be honest, doesn't allow for clubs to cover for long term injuries and sales.

Seems to me he wants all clubs to operate under conditions that best suit Arsenal.

Hypothetical. Zaha breaks his leg while pback at Palace on loan. What happens?

United finally get a replacement for Michael Owen in the physio room.

You might be able to recall him early from his loan spell at Palace so he can get his injuries treated at United. OR you might just leave him there near his home, and the medics that know him best.

Either way, it wouldn't affect the deal being done. He is a United player who is on loan to another club.

In that case I am not happy about loaning him back

I guess thats the risk you take when you loan any player out.

But there are benefits as well.

And when it comes down to it he could join up with United straight away and break his leg in his first training sessions (well he will be facing Scholes tackles each day when he does join)

Wenger wants that because he hates buying players. As this window shows.

It was the only reason the deal was done.

He has a 5 year deal. One broken leg won't matter.

reports that liverpool have agreed to an 8.5 mil deal for coutinho. absolute steal if true.

utter bargain. has his flaws and needs to be worked on, but liverpool are getting a 20 year old with huge promise, and im completely bemused as to why inter have let him go so cheaply, especially when they have the worse alvarez on their books. reckon they'll be a bit ashamed of this in 3-4 years time.

Will Coutinho get a work permit?

Wouldn't qualify on national appearances and not a regular at Inter.

And most important, not signing for Man United which is a guaranteed pass.

I've never really seen him, what are his flaws out of curiosity?

bit greedy, can make the wrong decisions, bit slight on the ball, but all things that can be worked on. he's a brazilian, he's 20, he likes a bit of flair. with some good coaching he can become something special.

I don't think he will. Just an average player.

How much of Coutinho have seen?

How much has anyone seen?

There is a reason Inter who is cash strapped will sell him for under 10million.
