Coutinho: dribbler, fast, magic touch, great 1v1.illnesses of youth:irregular, must improve choices. To play left coming inside.A future great
i agree with everything he's said here. has all the tools, just needs to grow up a bit. he's still only 20, is a brazilian international. the guy at his best just has that piece of magic that can pick up a team, and that's something very special to have at 20. i still remember his pass to eto'o as an 18 year old vs bayern. brilliant.
as for not playing as much, he's been injured a bit and loaned out. plus when he came it was when sneijder was at the peak of his powers, as well as only being a kid. then he went to espanyol and impressed there. inter have played mostly a 3-5-2 this season, as well as 3-4-1-2, and vs roma they played guarin (great talent) behind the strikers with zanetti and gargano behind him. they rotate that spot behind the strikers between coutinho, alvarez, palacio, guarin and cassani dependent on who's fit. that's a fair few names to contend with. also had sneijder as well until recently of course.
all in all, it's ridiculous to write him off at 20. with the right coaching, there's no reason as to why he cannot become a great player.
