Would make more sense than signing De Gea or Reina. I think too much is read into Barcelona signing Spanish players. The Spanish players they have in that squad either came straight through their academy and/or are some of the best players in the world in their position, they're not just signing Spanish players for the sake of it. I think the rumours surrounding either of those 2 replacing Valdes more likely than not came from their own agents rather than any concrete interest from Barcelona.

LFC and Arsenal wont spend that much for him.

I would probably rule out Chelsea(Falcao) and RM(Cavani).

Gomez would be perfect with Bale and Lennon feeding crosses in but i don't think Levy would spend the money to get him. Maybe if we make CL, he might do it

If we make CL and show ambition to improve the squad i don't think he would. If we can somehow get a top class striker and another wing back we could be very close to a title challenge
