I never said that would get it done. My point was that we shouldn't overpay too much for him because in a couple of years we can get him as a free agent

That'll never happen, any club that signs Ronaldo will pay a transfer fee, and it will be big, probably in excess of 50 million pounds. If Man Utd aren't willing to bargain in good faith then Real Madrid will find another suitor, I'm sure the likes the PSG have already tabled an offer.

Wouldn't mind us giving Wisdom a go as part of the rotation as well. Wilson and Coates to both go in the summer and if the right offer comes in I wouldn't be opposed to selling Skrtel either.

He's earmarked as Cole's replacement. Plus the kid is a huge Blues fan(and dreams of playing at the Bridge), which is nice.
