evidence of row with bobby?

i dont agree with what he said, but it's hardly going to lead to vinny, the club captain with 5 years left on his contract, the most important player to his team and one of the best centrebacks on the planet, to up and leave in a huff.

besides, no one could afford what we'd be after anyways.

I certainly don't agree with not allowing players to play for their country. But I was a bit uncomfortable with the fact that after 2 months out the first game back (and 90 minutes of it) was with Belgium and not with us.

If he had have re-injured the calf all hell would have broken loose and Mancini and the club would have been right in the firing line for letting it happen.

Anyway, just like with the Yaya "falling out", I doubt there is much to the VK "falling out".

Yaya signs new four year deal FWIW.

i highly highly doubt he's over 200k anymore.

changes to the wage structure would have him at 160k ish and performance laden bonuses adding up to 220k dependent on achievements. that was widely reported a while ago as happening under txiki and i doubt it would be different for yaya.

and just a small fyi. dimitri seluk is not an official fifa agent. he's yaya's 'advisor', whatever that means.

Don't know what we were thinking being the first club to pay our players in actual money.

Some rumours over the weekend that liverpool are trying to sell Carroll back to us but won't accept anything less than 17m (half what they paid us for him) or for cash plus Ben Arfa.

I personally wouldn't mind having Carroll back as he would give us another option going forward but similar to liverpool, he may need to be content with playing as a impact sub (as I'm not too sure him and Cisse would gel). Our owners are very shrewd as well and almost certainly wouldn't accept such a price. I think 10m tops would be our limit.

With there being a lot of rumours we will try and get Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, I can't see our owners throwing up potentially $20m + for 2 strikers. We've also been linked to Wilfried Bony - at best we would get 1 'purple' (premium) striker and then maybe 1 young/back up striker.

Would Newcastle be intrested in Bendtner?

Has the quality to be a good premier league forward but has a terrible attitude when not playing.

Not too sure Shoei. He hasn't been linked to us recently and we have a tendency to avoid buying from other English clubs (as transfer fees normally get excessively inflated).

He's the right age and profile - we seem to go for younger players who we think will have some re sell value (similar to the Arsenal model) but his questionable attitude would be the biggest worry - we have maybe the best team unity we've had in over 10 years and that's because the dressing room doesn't have many big ego's (in the past we had strong personalities like Bellamy, Bowyer, Barton etc). Someone like Bendter could be a possible destabilising presence.

Don't think he would be too keenly welcomed by most fans either as he had a loan stint with out bitter rivals Sunderland. Just checked up on him and he doesn't seem to have set the world on fire at Juventus (admittedly only had 8 appearances though).

No one will want Bendtner.

NUFC Tiger both Arsenal and Florentine are after Aubameyang.

True - though Arsenal seem very keen on Jovetic (who also seems eager) - incidentally from Fiorentina. Assuming Jovetic joins Arsenal, would Arsenal still pursue Aubameyang? He would have to contend with Giroud, Walcott, Gervinho (heard he may be sold to Turkey) and Jovetic for a start.

Fiorentina (if they lost Jovetic) would then need a striker so might be a big player for him (many clubs will be interested in him). He played for Milan before he moved to Ligue 1 and only had a handful of games (not sure how he felt playing in Italy - if he enjoyed his time there, that would be a big bonus to Fiorentina's hopes of securing him). They are currently sitting 4th, 6 points off Milan in third who have the last CL qualification spot so seemingly won't be able to offer him CL football next season.

Should he want to try English football, I would like to think we would be one of the more attractive clubs he could join given he would almost certainly be a regular starter for us and our large contingent of French speaking players and former Ligue 1 players. Will be an interesting story over summer.
