Spanish newspaper Marca apparently reporting that we have agreed a small fee for Falcao and will spend upto £43m for him.
Also mentioned that this supposed deal is much like the David de gea deal a few years ago.

I'm not sure how reliable Marca is though???

Rooney out and Falcao in?
If it were pretty much a straight swap I wouldn't be adverse to it although I want to keep Rooney. He is Manchester United.

Mr Manchester!

using a real madrid paper as a source for atletico madrid matters is all kinds of dumb.

they're trying to unsettle atletico. and what's more unsettling then putting their star striker on the front page being linked with a move away?

@honigstein: tomorrow's Kicker: Man City's Begiristain met with Mario Götze's agent last month with a view to activating a €40m release clause.

Pardon my French but f**k Isco.

So have United and so have likely several other teams.

Why are a lot of Dortmund players rumoured to be looking to move? Club has had great success, a top coach, strong league and amazing fans. Surely their wages can't be that much lower?

who says they're looking to move?

the only one is lewandowski, and apparently it's not even certain yet that he will leave. it's only because of the release clause.

btw no other club has met with gotze's agent. i can only see him moving for 2 teams, and they're both in spain.

If Mourinho does leave then Real Madrid will be searching for a new DM to replace Alonso. As Rafa would be a likely replacement, 2 CL finals with Liverpool and a couple of Spanish Liga's. Rafa would be a good fit for Real Madrid, even if the English don't recognise his talents. They would then search for the best DM in the world and pay what it takes, Alonso would be off.

As for Ronaldo... Keep dreaming. His contract has time to run and he knows his only hope of another Ballon D'or is with Real Madrid.

Who would be the best DM in the world they could get that is actually available?

The names that I heard on a Real Madrid website were Javi Garcia, Marco Veratti and a couple of young unproven players. So not a lot of talent to choose from it would seem.

That's what i was thinking, Veratti is a great young player at a powerful club who could also have ambitions to go back home. Garcia is an average at best player from what I've seen

Adam Maher to Ajax as a replacement for Eriksen. Apparently he was seen at their training ground last night, would seem like a logical move for him.
