Not sure what "reportedly" stands for but reading the comments below, the writer said Brendan Rogers is a Welshman (it's updated now).

But would be an understandable move though. 4 seasons and then off to Madrid.

Two reasons why I dont believe that.

1. The fee of 12.4 million pounds seems incredibly low.

Yeah I don't trust caughtoffside at all, they're as bad as goal.com and there's no way that fee is accurate. However, I have heard from a few sources that a fee has been agreed with Ajax for Eriksen but obviously there's still a long, long way to go with any potential move as personal terms need to be negotiated with the player etc. We're also rumoured to be simultaneously negotiating with them for Toby Alderweireld (Belgian CB), and they want Assaidi so it may be slightly more complicated.

Well, I just found this interesting article. I had no clue that Barca had already shown interest in Hummels and I'm so glad they have. I hope they throw in their fillings for him. It's exactly what Barca need.

I wouldn't bother with Neymar for now tbh. He's not even sure what's gonna happen with him anyway - wether he leaves or not. Plus, I'd be happy to stick it out another year with Messi - Villa - Pedro combo for another year. But their defence is desperate for a Hummels type. Plus I don't see Hummels costing any more than low $30mil anyway possibly lower.
You can get a good replacement for Valdez for another $15mil. In my opinion, anything would be an improvement in terms of keepers.
