I forgot footballers don't lie.

Footballers who are intending to leave their club generally just keep their mouths shut or give neutral answers to questions regarding their future, they don't go out of their way as much as he has to refute speculation. He's also told the rest of the players he'll be staying too. Despite his reputation of what people think he's like as a person I don't think he's that callous an individual to lie to his friends faces.

Chelsea slowly but steadily pulling me towards the dark side :D

So what would your midfield look like then next season? I think it would only be wise to bring back KDB if he can get about the same number of games as Hazard got this season.

In my humble opinion and if we set up the same as this season.....

In the double pivot, a mixture of two of Mikel, Ramires, Romeu and ?????(hoping like hell it's Fellaini). Sadly I think Lampard we not be offered a new deal and Essien will be sold. Chalobah(who I think will be a gun CDM) and Ake will be loaned out.

The three behind the striker, a mixture of Moses, Mata, Hazard, Oscar and KDB. Malouda, Marin, Benayoun and Kakuta will be sold and Piazon loaned out.

The Striker, Ba, Schurrle(who will also play behind the striker) and ?????(Hoping it's Lewandowski and Torres is sold). Lukaku out on loan again.

And welcome to the dark side:D.

Chalobah has been linked with Arsenal. Do you know what his contract situation is chef

Heard it's just that Arsenal wants Chalobah, but he's very happy where he is and the development plan Chelsea has for him. Contracted until June 2014.

No way he's going anywhere IMO and is seen as a possible future captain of the club.

"The deal, that would be solely funded by their Qatari owners, would not fall in line with Financial Fair Play, meaning sales may have to be made to balance the books"

Wouldn't happen for that reason alone.

Maybe it will when we get some Qatari owners.

Kevin De Bruyne has come to agreements with Dortmund, Leverkusen and Schalke, while Chelsea has told him they would like him to return. This is coming from his agent.

I had no idea he would have that much freedom to decide for himself. He is still talking to his family about what would be the best option. His issue with Chelsea is that he doesn't know yet who the coach will be next season.

De Bruyne cares the most about playing with regards to the world cup (qualifiers).

That is a massive turn over. How much cash is the new manager going to be given?

Saw an article saying Newcastle would join Spurs and Liverpool (and Dortmund) to sign Weimann from Villa though would take that with a pinch of salt as the same article had a picture of Benteke instead lol

spanish fox sports saying we've signed cavani.

because if there was anyone to know the business between an italian and an english club for a uruguayan player, it would be the spanish.

Good signing........:p

Clubs interested in Fellaini (according to Belgian newspaper):
Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Bayern Munchen, FC Barcelona, PSG, Zenit Sint-Petersburg en Anhzi.

I guess Barcelona would be looking to play him as a CB.

Being played out of position all the time doesn't help.

I don't know how good he can be but he's definitely looking to play in a more holding position. As an attacking midfielder he can no longer get into the Belgian XI.

i think fellaini is overrated to an extent, but he's certainly not a spud. he seems like the kind of guy who would needs to just be played in his best position and left there. he's played all over the pitch, a holding role, behind the striker, as a striker. i agree that he should be a holding midfielder, and used as a battering ram to get it forward, similar to how yaya is at his dominant best.

he's strong, he's relatively quick, and can play a decent pass. he'd slot into a fair few midfield's quite easily.

I want United to make a BIG play for Thiago. He wants first team opportunities and he would work a treat next to Carrick. He reminds me of a better version of Cleverley
