Why would Cavani go to PSG?

I can't really think of an exact reason, but contributing factors would be:

- Lavezzi
- The probability of a longer UCL run.
- Domestic dominance; not that Napoli are struggling by any means.
- And most importantly, $$$$$$$$$$$$

I hate to say it but he could get that and more at City which is a much better project and in an actual good league.

LeoMessi

Barca's net transfer spend last season was around 32 million pounds, and that includes the 14 mill you poached Jordi Alba from Valencia for when he was coming out of contract. Barca's got a fantastic youth academy (just like Bayern), but they can spend big when they want to.

It's a shame with Alba that they had to spend that much considering he's come from the Barcelona youth program. He's been a good signing without being fantastic. What they need is a replacement for ageing Puyol. They needed that last year and Song has been a disappointment. Hopefully we see the return of Abidal to top form.

I'd like them to think about maybe poaching Shaqiri from Bayern. He would certainly add another dimension to their play with midfield pace as well as a good left foot from outside the box.

Paris on the other hand is probably a much more appealing city to live than Manchester.

Meh if he wants to play in a worse league good on him.

Personality wise, Robben doesn't strike me as a Fergie player.

Fergie chased Robben hard all those years ago...Chelsea came in late and Robben chose Chelsea because "United were the past and Chelsea is the future" (of winning titles - Chelsea had just won after recently being given the Roman injection)

Fergie doesn't forget those type of things so I can't see Robben at Man U.

Why wouldn't anyone want to go to PSG? They may play in a weaker league according to some, but if they continue acquiring talent as they have done they'd be setting their sights on grander prizes, I'm sure they already have actually.

Money, success and lifestyle. Sounds pretty good to me.

Many keep looking down on money but most of us would do the same. Players have this limited period to win the jackpot and it would be stupid not to go for it. Money is also a sign that a club believes in you and that you are really wanted by them.

Also, if a player gets badly injured or can't keep up his level, clubs and their fans only want to get rid of him. It's a very selfish world out there.

If Dzeko leaves City, and Cavani does go to PSG, who would city fans be lining up as a replacement?

Good question. Only two that stand out are Falcao, and if he wanted out of PSG Ibra. I could see us getting a younger unproven forward but in addition to a top liner not instead.

As stupid as it sounds, I'd love Ibra to sign for Man City. Just becuase I want to see him in the EPL and I don't think he'll sign for Arsenal/Spurs/Chelsea/ManU.

Well if I was a soccer player, and clubs like Bayern, city, Milan, United and PSG wanted me I wouldn't choose PSG even if they offered me the most. I'd rather be playing for a massive club in the best leagues.

I wonder how many players have played at the top level in France, Italy, England and Spain

Beckham and Henry come to mind

Wouldn't City be in the same category of PSG instead of United, Milan and Bayern?
