not guaranteed though, with bale they already know they have a world class player that is so good and fits into the team so well that he basically is the team half the time

they won't get another player in like bale. increases in tv money + prize revenue means it'll be easier for club to buy top line talent. and tottenham will still be able to attract quality talent.

I'm not exactly sure how in the loop he is but I'd imagine as a former scout and current CEO of Monaco he'd be in circles where that sort of information would be passed around. Hopefully he's right on this one.

You just dont know how much truth is in that. I mean all those jobs he listed yet has nothing to do with Shalke which is where Papa is. Still be awesome if true.

Has been very good for us as a squad player this season, comfortable seeing him in the starting lineup (hasn't always been the case).

I suspect we'd be able to match what Liverpool offer in wages, only thing they might be prepared to do is offer a multi year deal.

Otherwise with Lescott likely to leave I don't know why we wouldn't keep him on for another season.
