Not sure what you have been watching either. Everything about Torres is different. Workrate, pace, confidence, ability, technique. He just isnt the same player anymore. He is frustrated.

Torres is likeable and considering he hasnt set the world on fire at Chelsea, I still actually like him because I actually feel sorry for him.
Obviously his pace etc is different, he has had injuries and losing speed comes with age, it's obvious.

I think you're exaggerating though. Not what he was, but not horrid like you're making out.

For the price they paid it is.

His return is similar to workmanlike forward like Heskey, Walters, Carlton Cole... shit like that. They paid 50 million for him! It's pretty horrid.

It's sad what happened to him because for a two-three years when at my club, he was IMO without doubt the best striker in world football. He was a freak.

Im glad though, we got the best of him, then when he turned traitor it all fell apart for him. Judas c*nt. :D

crudely translated by auto translate:

Two shots placed, as anticipated. The Monaco does not stop, after Falcao are in arrival the signatures on Contracts for the James Rodriguez and Joao Moutinho. Both taken for 70 millions of euro from the Port, they will be reinforcements for Claudio Ranieri: in the Principality there are own i two Portuguese, together to the agent Jorge Mendes, to define the last details and sign. The blows in Monaco continue ...

basically saying moutinho and rodriguez will be signed today/tomorrow our time.

Who do you buy to actually make you a contender?

Jonjo Shelvey, Ballon d'Or 2014. Lock it in.

No seriously, on top of those defensive signings we definitely need another marquee player in midfield and probably a wide forward/playmaking winger to go on the right, I'm assuming the club will be aiming to bring in players who fit that description over the summer.

After that, our progression up the table will depend on how much our under 23's (the likes of Kelly, Wisdom, Henderson, Allen, Coutinho, Suso, Sterling, Ibe, Sturridge and Yesil) can improve over the next few seasons. That's the benefit of loading up a squad with young players I suppose, you can almost guarantee they and consequently the squad as a whole aren't going to be getting worse. How fast and how far they can go with their development is obviously unknown but that's what makes it so exciting. I'm sure you're equally curious about how good players like Jones, Smalling, Rafael, Cleverley, Powell, Januzaj and Zaha could become.

Rio has signed a one year contract. Not sure why he is hated so much. He wrote this about him re-signing and a few days ago wrote a nice piece on Scholes, Sir Alex and even Carragher!!

" I'm delighted to announce that i've signed a 1 year contract extension with Manchester United. Read more here: http://bit.ly/10TgYRJ

Who wouldn’t want to play in this fantastic team in front of 75,000 fans each week, it has been an incredible journey and I am glad it will continue. I can now fully concentrate on my club career, which has worked well for me over the past few years.

This is a great team to be part of and we are now moving into a new era with the club which is very exciting. I have met with David I am really looking forward to working with him and winning many more trophies with this great club."

Heard rumours a while ago that Dortmund were chasing hard for him as a replacement for Gotze

Him and De Bruyne apparently, our only chance is that it's a case of 1 or the other and not both, and they opt for De Bruyne. I heard they're also considering making an offer for Brazilian midfielder Bernard.

We would be mad to sell De Bruyne. Maybe we will loan him out for another year but I really don't think Roman would be willing to cash in.

Might not be his choice to make, suppose Dortmund offer De Bruyne the opportunity to play every week as the starting #10 for the Champions League finalists as opposed to occasionally coming off the bench to play on the wing for Chelsea. What do you think De Bruyne would want? I think Mourinho is going to have a big job convincing him of his importance to the clubs plans because if he doesn't then he will surely push for a move.

I'm certain that if Roman doesn't want to sell him he doesn't get sold.

It doesn't matter what De Bruyne wants. If he didn't want to play or be part of Chelsea he shouldn't of signed the contract. I'm sure if he came to London and wasn't getting games he would put in the effort to be an important first XI player, instead of sulking on the bench.

How will he fit into the side when we already have Mata, Oscar & Hazard though?

Even though he can play as an attacking mid his best position is a a centre mid which is our biggest weakness, especially since the end of Frank's career is nigh.

Also you can never have too many quality players in your squad. Three players cannot be expected to play every game, we need quality back up options, for competition as well, and Moses, Yossi and Marin will not take us to a title.
