Yeh would be a good deal for Pool. Suarez would be worth about 45mil. Di Maria 25mil + Benzema 20mil. and with a trade you wouldn't have to exert more energy wondering how the money would be spent. Problem is that those 2 players won't take a massive pay cut to play in a worse team

Benzema and Di Maria wouldnt want to come to LFC at the moment anyways. No idea what kind of money they are on per week. We dont struggle to pay wages though, cant imagine that would be too much of an issue unless they are on crazy money.

But Coutinho Sturridge Suarez front three is better than Coutinho Benzema Di Maria. So thanks, but no thanks.

But Sturridge would still be there....
It would only be an option if Suarez wanted to go. and if he does then you won't get many better deals than that

Yeah probably shunted to the bench. Agreed it's a good deal if he wants to go but from all reports he doesnt want to go and we dont want to get rid. So we will just keep one of the very best footballers on the planet thank you very much and take our chances :)

Heynckes dropping huge hints that Lewandowski's more or less signed. Massive shame. Leaves Dortmund severely weakened and Bayern irresistible.

Dortmund will lose my respect if they sell him to their rivals, kinda like Arsenal selling RVP to United.

With Gotze they had no say as he had a buy out clause but Lewandowski they could sell him elsewhere.

Coutinho-Benzema-Di Maria is better than Coutinho-Sturridge-Suarez for mine, would make us a better team.

Would take it but Benzema and Di Maria wont accept the deal.
I dont think so, Benzema managed just 10 league goals this season. But you want to give up Suarez who was scoring goals for fun. Di Maria is a classy wide player who would give us a huge upgrade on Downing but neither Di Maria or Benzema are truly world class. Suarez is. We would be giving up one of the very best players in world football who is just entering his prime.

Also you would have to dump Sturridge back to the pine to accomodate Benzema. Sturridge is perfect for what we do. Pace, tricks, movement. He just fits our system perfectly. He may even end up pushing Benzema onto the bench. So in turn we have given up Suarez for Di Maria and a bench warming Benzema.

Dont rate.

We're a much better team keeping Suarez and just building around him like we did in January with Sturridge and Coutinho.

I think lewandowski's contract runs out in a couple of months doesn't it? He's rejected multiple extensions for 100k+ per week so I don't think he wants to stay

Contract runs out at the end of next season.

If he doesn't want to stay they should sell him but not to Bayern, even if the offer is 10-15m less.

That would be an incredibly stupid thing to do.

But they don't seem to have a choice anyway. Lewandowski only wants Bayern apparently. They can only swallow their pride, accept the money and think of the future.

Must be hard for Dortmund fans at the moment, losing to Bayern in the CL final, losing one of their best young players in Gotze to Bayern and could potentially lose Lewandowski to Bayern as well.

Nah, im not in the business of trading world class players for two very good players.
god you're biased...... thankfully you're the only unbearably deluded liverpool fan on here.
anyone can see it would be a very good deal for liverpool. both benzema are capable of a very high level, arguably comparable to suarez.

Selling your best player to your main rival and strengthening them while weakening your own team, now that's a loser mentality.

What part of "they have no choice" do you not understand?

Anyway, they can be stupid or not. Let's say they did have something to say about Lewandowski's destination, then selling him to another club for less money would be stupid. They're already losing Goetze to them and they're running the risk of losing other big players. That is a clear sign that they need to strengthen their budget. Refusing to sell Lewandowski to Bayern, now that would be a loser mentality. It would show they're not focusing on themselves and their future, but rather with their rival who they simply cannot compete with at the moment.

They have to accept their current financial situation and focus on improving that. If they have a plan and ambition, they shouldn't give a **** about Bayern right now because at the moment Bayern is in another league financially.

no it's not. if you can find one neutral football fan out of every 100 who agrees I'd be very, very surprised.

now you are being deluded and biased.

I think most neutral fans will just be upset with BVB for selling to Bayern because they we want to see some competition in the Bundesliga, and Dortmund could now really fall in a heap. Hopefully Schalke can get their shit together next year...
