Don't buy into the youtube videos of all the goals, most were scored last season in Spain's second division, which is pretty ****house.

Had a good season at Celta despite them being relegated.

He's 25 and had only one season in the top division, scoring 12 goals. Maybe worth a gamble if cheap because of the relegation.

Gervinho has been quite serviceable, if by serviceable you mean providing quality lolz.

Seriously though, he has a high ceiling, he just produces the goods approximately once every 20 odd games.

Tottenham could replace Bale, buy two forwards they need and really step up a level if they spend properly.

Who would Spurs buy with the money? I would be so much happier if Willian and Hulk were avalible and Spurs had 75m.

It's a huge amount of money.

Surely they look to sell some players.

You would think Benzema going would be around 25m€. Then if Coentrao, Sahin and Carvalho are sold they would be pushing upto 50m€. Plus whatever money they have to spend before selling.

Di Maria was supposedly set to leave but sounds like he's going to stay now. Khedira is another that has been linked away as well.

Madrid could easily get the funds to do it through sales. It would leave gaping holes in their squad but common sense is not something the Real Madrid board are known for.

Exactly. There already seems to be a shortage of established class players for ManC, Chelsea, PSG etc to fight over before Tottenham get in the frame. Dortmund's going to have a tonne of money to spend too who will probably be looking at similar targets to Spurs.

They really must not lose Bale unless it's for multiple class players. Maybe Real can do the play plus more cash deal as was discussed about for Suarez. Say Di Maria + Benzema + STG25m...
