Why waste the wages?

We have Agger, Skrtel, Coates at CB. With both Kelly and Wisdom who have played at RB but are both natural central defenders. Kolo Toure has just signed on and we are being linked to Papa very heavily aswell as Ilori.

Obviously we dont know what is going on with Skrts and Coates but even if both leave thats still Agger, Toure and probably Papadopoulos, then maybe Ilori, Kelly and Wisdom. Seems like overkill.

I do think we need to bring in two central defenders. Toure is already signed. Papa seems the other one.

United will ask for 35-40million. Rooney will ask for 200k + a week wages. There is zero chance of Arsenal agreeing to those terms.

I know it's unlikely, if he does move, it will most likely be to PSG, but Arsenal are a possibility. If the rumours are true that Arsenal have a bit to spend then they will easily match our asking price, only problem would be wages, but from the looks of things, Rooney just wants to play upfront and score goals, that's his reason this time, last time it was money.
