But we keep hearing on here that Real dont want suarezWell if they're getting Suarez then there's no point keeping him on the bench, and the player probably wants to move on

If we do sell Mikel then I fully expect us to immediately meet Cavani's buyout and then go ahead and also buy Jovetic as well as hijacking City's bid for Isco.
Chelsea, depleting the central midfield while buying nothing but attackers since 2010.

Why would Obi's transfer trigger that?
Cavani is going to cost close to £50m, Isco is £30m, Jovetic £25m
Obi is going to net you £13m, chump change in comparison.
For £13m im suprised a few prem clubs aren't biting, his wage demands aren't mega, £60k a week.

Weren't Chelsea linked with Khedira on Jose's return?
Mundo Deportivo: Isco has rejected Real Madrid's offer and if nothing changes will join City for a fee close to £21million shortly.

Hull in talks with Carlton Cole on a free.
Doesn't seem that long ago he was in high demand and quite some decent fees for him were being touted.

Im not a Chelsea fan and dont know as much about the players as Chelsea fans would but to me this seems worrying. Essien is finished. Lampard is 35? Luiz is error prone and more a defender than midfielder. Kondo and Chalobah are kids arent they. Ramires is class though. I thought Chelsea would be in the market for classy DM/CM as there attacking options (Mata, Oscar, Hazard etc) are very good. We're recalling Essien, have Romeu returning from injury, are rumoured to be after Matic and are also looking at players like Kondogbia(plus Ramires, Lamps, Luiz, maybe Chalobah) . We are going to have plenty of options in the pivot.

Malaga executive vice-president Moayad Shatat has suggested star man Isco will not be sold for anything less than the €35 million (£29.97m) release clause in his contract.
