Yes me too, get what you pay for, we have decided no more low cost carriers long haul, we have nicknamed them Pornstar
Cannot recommend Air Nz enough just flew with them to USA service, comfort, everything top notch
Will do BQ, just landed in SF, catching the ferry out to Sausalito tomorrow, should be awesome !!

I don't fly with them any more.
18 months ago they charged me on the runway for carrying hand luggage a few KG over their limit. Hop on the plane and the flight was 3/4 empty...
Pricks. With Qantas and Virgin both offering very good services there's no need to fly with an airline who does that.

Sacoma looked nice for lunch restaurant over the water ... We left SF Thursday and the weather was superb, much better than August, which is normal they tell me...what a city !

They are shizen, some years ago we had fares to Thailand civil unrest developed we decided we no longer wanted to go, also foreign affairs where advising cancel any non urgent travel, do you think they would let us cancel or re route our tickets..no way ! We decided on Bali, they wouldn't budge, after hours of phone calls they agreed, re routed the out bound via Perth with a 6 hour transit and the return via Darwin, plus additional charges, Months later we we booked Hobart, decided to do a direct debit payment as they charge like a wounded bull for credit, left off the booking reference, which needs to be included, rang them and told them no probs they reckon we'll sort it, about a week later the money is refunded into our account ! Not sure what to do we rang Jetstar reservations to check playing dumb, and yes sure no probs all confirmed and payment received, thanks enjoy your flight, well we sure did ... Free of Charge haha! Other Jeststar nightmares I could share but, We avoid Jetstar now, last option always

Whilst in Vegas we were lucky enough to do the sunset helicopter trip to the Grand Canyon, landing in the canyon for a picnic then heading back to the Vegas strip at sunset. Truely one of the best things we have ever done. If you get the opportunity to do it don't pass it up, beats losing your money gambling !!

Not a fan of Vegas, but I've only ever been there twice - first time with my girl and her parents and second time for a conference. I might feel differently about it had I spent a weekend there with some mates in party mode.
Have to concur with you there MK, San Fransisco is just about my favourite city in the States.
You know what you get in Vegas, my thoughts are similar to yours. Great party place but how long do you wanna party for. Did enjoy some of the shows, Celine Dion & Lionel Richie, oldies but goodies, both consummate professionals.
