Bombers have beaten the bottom 4 teams, Adelaide by 3, Fremantle by 6, Sydney by 6 and North by 14.

The only top 8 teams they’ve played are Brisbane who belted them by 63 and the Bulldogs who belted then by 42. They are in for hell of a 2nd half of the year.

That's them every year though. Look promising for patches but inevitably falls apart at some point.

Worse still, is that although they've played the bottom 4 teams, their percentage is a poor 88%.
Even Melbourne in 15th has a better % than them, and 5 of their games have been against top 8 teams.

Feeling particularly footy frenzied right now and could really use an update to this ladder
Essendon have a game in hand, mark them down for an extra loss

Best part is when originally scheduled Essendon would probably have beaten the Demons... now... unlikely.

I remember some of the Essendon flogs bragging about how the game they had in hand was treated as a guaranteed win.

Now they'd be lucky to get within ten goals of Melbourne.
