Well, given I'm the only Richmond supporter on the planet who seems to think that it was a decent game, very entertaining, probably the second best spectacle of the round...I just wanna say congrats to the Blues. You played well.

We'll beat you next year ;) , but you played well...

And no, I'm not drunk.

Where is benny_furs????
Probably won't see him for a while!

:D :thumbsu:
I was at the game so excuse me for not posting the minute it finished.

I was impressed with Gibbs' first game and Carruzzo (sp) was fantastic. Murph, like Deledio, was relatively quiet unfortunately. I wanted a classic dual between the two but that will have to wait for another day.

Richo's game was better than Fevola's. Both stepped up in the last quarter, but Richo had little help when the game was there to be won. Also Richo didn't crack the ****s and attack a skinny crumber after the siren

The truth has been told - Carlton are in better form than Richmond on April 1st.

Let's see who has the most momentum come september ;):thumbsu: You are at your peak now, Richmond was always building for the last 2/3s of the season (with our NAB training system and all that was a given).

In all honesty I thought today's match was a ripper and possibly the second best of the round. Great free flowing, high scoring football by both teams and the atmosphere was fantastic. Both teams looked 10th-7th placed teams imo.

Just a couple more things benny. You said in another thread the Tigers were going to introduce to the blues to a real winning culture, how'd you go with that?

How'd the super tagger Kane Johnson go on Nick Stevens? Also, might want to teach him which way to kick :D

and finally

Why do Richmond play such crap football, chip it around, go backwards. How about taking the game on. When they did last night they looked very good, when they didn't they looked disgraceful, lucky we worked it out before Adelaide did :thumbsu:

Oh we showed you winning culture, but after we showed you what it's all about we went home 10 mins into the 3rd quarter :D

God I couldn't believe it. Hopefully his first kick isn't symbolic of things to come for us...

Polo well and trully beat Murphy, but Johnson was far below normal and even got replaced by Tivendale for 2 quarters. Tiv was our best player (I actually tipped this somewhere funnily enough!)

You should be grateful, our match was the 2nd best match of the round to watch. Great open free flowing high scoring football. Fantastic to watch and little flooding. The chipping came when our players were scared to make a turnover during your comeback.

Gotten to you have I?
No excuses from me, we just lost on the day
Good work Cogs. Plenty of good signs for you guys though. Foley was impressive early and when Johnson learns which way to kick he will be valuable ;)

As much as it pains me to admit, Pettifer played well, though you would have to be disappointed he couldn't get a hold of Gibbs when he went down there.

Unsure of his name, but 43 seems to have some talent also. Early in the season but more than happy to have one on the board. You guys will give the Swans a run this week.
